See if you can look up the history of those funny roofed buildings. There were/are a number of them in the Mojave Desert and I believe they were all little stores. Or maybe I heard restaurants? Not sure but I know there were/are a number of them. I even heard that there may be one still open on the 15 near the state Nevada state line. They all had those weird looking roofs. People have no idea how much those glue lambs (curved beams) are worth. They are most likely worth thousands each now. And there's a lot of other valuable and sellable stuff there as well. Those ceiling tiles are worh bank as are those pipe insulators. Geeesh.
Their isn't much other than it had opened in the 60s as el rancho motel and changed the name to the royal Hawaiian in the 70s and closed in 2009. That's really all I could find anyway.
I think I remember seeing this before. It looks like it was a pretty nice place at one time. Seems like the graffiti artists got to every room. Somehow, they're always the first ones there. Some of it looks kind of cool though. I was a little worried about the dog getting a nail in it's paw, but that's just how I am. I know this is a reupload, but I wonder what they ended up doing with this place.
Hey Flo 👋 last time we drove by a few months ago it had actually been gated off, but I'm sure it's not doing any good. People who have the need to destroy always find a way in 🙄 but yes, some of the graffiti look good in the right place, of course. I'm sure this was a nice place to stop and rest for the night at one point as it sits about 100 miles from Las Vegas and about 170 miles from Los Angeles. Thanks Flo I appreciate all of your support.
nice explore. hey have you ever gone into a place and accidentally run into any people? and do you have a big jar of disinfectant waiting in the car? bc some of that was nasty!
Lol yes I have ran into people once or twice and no disinfectant other than hand sanitizer but I do have shoes that I change before I get back in the car. I would want to bring asbestos or anything back with us.

I hope you're enjoying the snow.
Hey Deb 👋 yes everyone enjoyed the snow. We got enough for the kids to get a snow day from school so of course they were super excited about that.
Man, those old checks are too cool! You should give some out in another comment number game lol
That would have been a good idea but I still haven't did the drawing from the last giveaway. I'm a slacker lol
@909Adventures 🤣
It's such a shame to see any building go to ruins like this
It's really is, it could be used in so many different ways. Thanks for watching Lisa.
Great video 📹 if only those walls could talk, we always stop in baker on way to vegas
I know right, to bad walls can't talk lol. Baker is always one of our stops to. Thanks Greg I appreciate your support.

@@909Adventures Well like I said, I know there were others in the Mojave and some are still standing and abaindoned and there might still be one open.
Great find! Love the checks. We found an abandoned shed by El Mirage with boxes of USPS shipping supplies 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks buddy, glad you enjoyed it. That would be interesting to see.
