Paul , I feel so fortunate to have had you here in the Twin Cities for so many years. I was devastated when you left, because you made KARE11 a station that we could all trust and be proud of as Minnesotans. My husband and I watched you religiously. You always made Diana laugh, and even though she wasn't the best , you helped her be the best that she could be. I think you and Paul Douglas pulled it off, though. I still remember him calling you "Mr. Magers" and the banter that went on. The people of the Twin Cities trusted you two like no others before or since. God bless! Best wishes for your retirement!!
Best anchor in Mpls because it was in his blood. A natural.Paul left MPLS for LA because he hated the Winters. Unfortunately his demons followed him to LA and happy to hear he sought help. Good luck to you Paul.

I know he left Kare 11 A looong time ago but still miss him on the news in, Minnesota. Just not the same.

He left Kare 11 because he hated the winters, He wanted to wake up and see green grass!
He was a news anchor in Minneapolis (KARE 11), before coming to Los Angeles.

1st it was Big Brother Ron from WLS, ABC 7 Chicago Last Year, Now Little Brother Paul Earlier this Year!
I literally ran into him at the MN Twins world series game 6! How embarrassing 🤣 He just laughed.
