(since they relocated the festival in 2006 some 10+ times).. it is the 2nd biggest pure metal festival in Germany (beside Wacken) today! Good choice!
I saw AA in 2006 when they toured with COB. At the time COB was my favorite band. I never heard of AA until they came on stage an blew me away. Johan has been my biggest influence ever since.

Amon Amarth is great live! We were crammed into a small venue where we were we could touch the stage if we reached out, right in the front row, and it was excellent! I almost dare say it was sexcellent. They came through Edmonton with Sabaton a few years ago.
Oh, he's not waiting for "Raise your horns". Most of the time in live shows they all have horns that they drink from. Usually, they take a drink in between songs, raise their horns and shout "skål" (Swedish for cheers). In some shows, horns are available as merch. Let's just say their shows are a fun experience.

Another great track from the same album is the first one, An Ancient Sign of Coming Storm. The tremolo riff during the song is so catchy. Plus its similar to Pursuit of Vikings.
