Man, this was such a fun, insightful conversation. After MJ retired in '99, Ray was the player I focused on and idolized. Also a fun journey down memory lane, talking about early-mid 90's college basketball. So many great teams, players, and personalities, without the internet/social media influence. The first time I saw Ray was in Street & Smiths magazine lol. Those early Jordan Brand years were great as well, seeing these guys rocking classic retros in their team colors was so exciting every season.
Man, them Jordan XVII’S was the best jays I ever purchased. That commercial was something special, reminds me of the last days of being a kid with no worries.
I think dunking Ray was my favorite too..a lot of guys forgot about that version of Ray. Sneaky with it too. Make it look like a layup and then bang on ur head top
So happy to see Ray get his flowers! Gets too much hate from guys like KG, Rondo and even Stack because he was jealous of ray rays career. Being a Seattle guy some of my favorite memories were going to watch him and Rashard ball the fuck out. Miss watching him play!
QRich and DMiles you have not only inspired everyone and their brother to create their own Podcast, but you guys have perfected your format and are able to move through the show seamlessly. Ray is my favorite shooter of all time (I like Clay too). But Ray had the most perfect form ever. To keep it real as a Boston Celtics fan, I thought he should've won the finals MVP in 08. Straight legend.
