What a nostalgia trip, loved it. Euphonium player here, though I havent picked one up in years. Concert band, Marching band [baritone], solo & ensemble, Jazz band...[when they didnt make me use my trumpet.] I still have my trumpet but rarely break it out of the case. Even ended up marrying a brass player from a different school lol. And I'm with you, the world needs more Euphoniums, players and music written for them. [I always got stuck playing Tenor Sax sheet in treble clef or having to adapt the trombone sheet to a valved instrument.] Biggest thing I can say is keep playing, my band years are some of the best years and memories of my life and I miss playing so so much. Never stop playing if its something you enjoy.
Are those Jupiter marching horns? They look similar to the old baritones we used to march (but our baritones were beat up horns). My school now has King K30 horns to march with.
Yes, that year we got brand new Jupiter baritones and mellophones. We used to use beat up old Yamahas, as you can see in my previous marching band headcam.
