You could actually use the IDE somewhat easily by just writing an invalid line at the top, leaving it there, writing all of your code below it, then removing it and letting the code do its thing.
wait a minute... if the time halves each time, that would mean an infinite amount of lines would get removed in 20 seconds. thats cursed af@@MrRyanroberson1
Just discovered you and this is massively entertaining (except maybe for boxing gloves's (Drex?) mic clipping due to being loud. Not a fan of loud sadface)

Gotta say, that fight was really lame. It was basically just Creaturey downing a load of drugs, and then the 2 slapping eachother until Drexel give up.
They're inelegant and completely replaceable by functions and break/continue but they function(no, pun, intended) well enough. If you're not making a GPL/MIT program or a collaborative project I personally consider it a stylistic choice. I personally prefer just calling functions, but I'll admit gotos helped keep me sane while learning C++'s graceful but almost insultingly strict syntax. I've actually been rewriting some of my practice programs using functions instead of gotos and they look quite a bit nicer. Also, love your videos Truttle. They perfectly combine my love of coding and dry, snarky humor. You're doing great, keep it up :)
sorry, i can be bad at wording sometimes. I meant it as "I can see both your and truttle's sides" by inelegant i meant blunt and to the point, not ugly or undesirable. Keep using gotos if you like them, the reason a lot of people don't like them (presumably incl truttle, i don't mind them but usually don't use them.) is because it's easy to make code a tangled mess of flow control that can be hard to read. But this can be largely avoided by a bit of care. Don't let anyone discourage you from coding just because they don't like certain commands as much as you. It's a fun pastime and i would say increasingly important in an increasingly computer ruled world.
i wrote a language for a multiplayer game engine im working on and eh i didnt pick the best syntax xD; My language: Instantiate "Food" Random 0-300 300; Random 0-300 300;; Usual normal languages: Instantiate ("Food", Random (-300,300),Random (-300,300)) lol
I'm actually more curious about the animation software you use rather than the matirial TBH. It looks like it could be flash, but I don't feel like that's the case.
This would be a Hello, World! program in Uyjhmn n: PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE 72 PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE 101 PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE 108 PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE 108 PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE 111 PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE 44 PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE 32 PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE 87 PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE 111 PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE 114 PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE 108 PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE 100 PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE 33 END THIS PROGRAM
Also, thanks for featuring my interpreter in the video!
why would you think this was a good idea?
why would _anybody_ *_ever_* think this was a good idea?!?!?!?
"what if i took cobol and turned it into a typing game"
Lol
Isn't COBOL a typing game anyway?

I think it removes the invalid line
@@schwingedeshaehers write a bunch of them, like spam one letter constantly and whenever you're out of lines, spam some more XD
It would start removing them arbitrarily fast though

thats what am thinking
I'm so glad I found this channel.
Well, I will just write a quick python script to auto type in my code if I ever have to use this
NO CHEATING!!!
use autohotkey
Import pyautogui
wscript.sendKeys "ha"
IF
BOOLEAN IS KEY PRESSED:
HOLD
'CTRL'
PRESS
'V'
PRINT
TYPE IS POPUP
TEXT IS 'NO CHEATING!!!'
Ahh so it wasn't just me who was having the issue that a carriage return is inserted every time a line is read. Good to know :)
Victor Tran I think the carriage return is caused by removing the top line from the textbox.
Oh, Victor Tran, fancy seeing you here
When I got into this video, I thought it was about a conlang.
I now need to make a esoteric conlang with the name "Uyjhmn n" kek
@@thego-dev i mean thats a pretty believable conlang name
Love your videos, but, God, I wish I had an audio compressor
10:41 pills, baby! * g u l p *
thanks for teachin me to program and think about programming in its purer forms . and i love your characters !!
Actually the idea of a truth machine was used before esolangs, it's actually based on a very simple finite state machine
Yeah have fun reading that. Well, i do learn wingdings and well, all its variations. Including webdings.
Judging by your profile picture i already know damn well why
@@randomazzy11 eh, ive forgotten every form of wingdings lmao
@sandpaperunderthetable6708 I want to try to learn Wingdings also I just want to know why did you learn it i wanna know if I was right
@@randomazzy11yea u was right
@@infrakazos what was it tho

"hello world" has become bloatware.
Yay, your video on Uyjhmn n is out!
well, cheat with autohotkey auto type XD
now its an eighth grader
This hurts. Like a lot.
Ujdžhmn n ija nova rihased toča pubićiña.
You aren’t expected to understand this.
So, you effectively made AppleScript?
AppleScript has actual block statements and the IDE doesn't rush the user.
I find that you have to type:
11 times:
"PRINT THE CHARACTER WITH THE ASCII VALUE"
followed by:
a random number
"END THIS PROGRAM"
funny.
haha, I have AutoHotKey.
Lucky.
"You there, Dinosaur, you do it"

So you messed up.

To be honest I actually love gotos

I can actually partially imagine this being an actual language on a 50s or 60s computer.
