I panic bought a canvas key pouch a few years ago right before a price increase. It has turned out to be my most used luxury item of any brand. Holds cards, little hand sanitizer bottle, I put my rings in it when I have to take them off. I have it with me 24/7. And it still looks brand new! MVP.

I’m very new to the designer handbag obsession. I don’t know too much about them. I’m a nurse and a saw a patient’s mother with a bag that made me inhale my breath so hard I didn’t know what hit me. I knew it was LV but I didn’t know what it was. I went home and googled what I saw and it’s the Coussin. Dear lord what a gorgeous bag. I’m seriously pining for that bag.

Interesting! If I would keep just 5, I would focus on my more casual pieces because the roots of LV is for traveling. So key pouch, mini pochette, speedy 25 bandolier, Neverfull and keepall 50. If I add a 6th piece it would be a Nice bb. But really just classics honestly.

Agree, I use the canvas cles pouch as a small catch all in mini bags, love a mini pochette in larger ones. The Recto Verso and Rosalie coin purse (both in empriente leather) have held my car key fob, few cards (credit and store cards are on my phone) and a bit of cash. Great SLGs! My Croisette is a good crossbody bag and NeoNoe as a tote. Neverfull too big for me. I feel I need a Speedy 25B too!

Hi Deb, love your videos and I am usually 100% in agreement with everything that you say. However, I question one of your selections today. I have the monogram Side Trunk Bag and I adore it! I personally do not think that it is a good choice for a starting collection. First of all, most people, when they are just staring to collect luxury handbags, can't afford to begin with a $4,000.00 purse. I also believe that this is not a good everyday handbag. I don't baby my bags, but the Side Trunk bag has a lot of metal trim. I tend to be pretty careful with it so that it doesn't scratch prematurely. I know it won't stay pristine, but it is not a knockabout bag. I think some of these are better suited to early collectors; Pochette Metis East West, Alma BB, Speedy 20 or 25 and the Crosissete. These bags are not trendy, are way mid price, and in my opinion better grab and go pieces.
