LOL! Kitteh belleh. She certainly looks comfy... How have I missed some other iteration of this. It looks like fun, and wide open to "whatever I feel like stuffing into them at this moment." Of course, the aburage is yet another thing I'm going to have to go looking for.
I've never heard of aburage, but they look very intriguing! The filling sounds so delicious - I wonder if I could stuff it into a wonton wrapper instead? And then boil, of course - microwaving wonton wouldn't really work... :) Thanks for sharing!
hey kid this video just triggered a couple of memories for me! i used to eat stuffed aburage in germany... but those silly germans at the organic store stuffed it with sauerkraut and some other stuff. it wasnt very good. and in the deli in maine, we had a sushi chef who used to sneak us aburage stuffed with rice flavored with soy sauce and something sweet.... they were very flavorful but kinda yucky soggy. ok back to you hehe
Those are the cone sushi wrappers right? The seasoned ones? Im gonna make these sunday for our weekly family dinner at my moms. Last week I did the crock pot chicken so this week will be this!
Does your kitty bite at her tummy making it bald? Miya kitty does and we've always wondered why. I,d totally try the aburage if I could pass the tofu wrapper off as something else :)
Thank you so so much for the full recipes that you have on each of your videos.
I would never make these things but it's so interesting watching them :)
it looks so good i dont feel cheated out of my optional shrimp.
The filling looks nummy great combo :)

i watch many tutorial about aburage, i think the way you cooked it should be much longer until the water reduces to half.

I love dishes in a wrapper or crust stuffed with good "stuff!!" lol
So stuffed aburage is really a meat loaf stuffed inside a tofu wrapper?
