That I think might actually be pretty true in real life.When It comes to Cartels owning the army.The Mexican army and authorities are accused of corruption.

@@jamesvarela233 the sad thing is, they kind of do outside of the Mexican Marines. Also, Mexico City hasn't really been in power since the _1970s_ or at least after the earthquake that hit the city back in that time period.

@@jamesvarela233 yes, but no. The sad reality is that, well, there ten thousand and one fires out there and something in the US's backyard doesn't mean much unless it disrupts the world trade and geopolitical system. The international community focuses on those two things above all else.
So, unless said terrorists have things like _nuclear warheads_ or bioweapons or otherwise disrupt the two focuses, then they are ignored outside of local forces.
The US, IRL, has been trying to fix Mexico but... well, as I said Mexico City only has metephorical power, not actual power, for a long time.

@@jackschuller6684 nah, this new mw gives characters personality by adding small conversations during missions, also having the ability to choose what you say. Shadow company is brutal when they execute the corrupt officers during the “ALONE” mission.

Honestly from the gameplay and campaign tbh CoD is running out of ideas especially how stupid and confusing this mission is. Any normal civilian would never go run out in the crossfire or go out in the open when someone is running around with a gun.
In the original mw2 Russia literally took over Washington DC. So believability doesn’t seem to be a priority. Just enjoy it
@@Charles-pf7zy yeah and General Shephard was a bad guy and he was supposed to be dead. This is a reboot, we had way more interesting battles and scenarios than fighting both the Mexican army and Cartel with just special forces.
Well I mean unless you’re actively under threat of being shot I’m not sure if you know what people will do, and using the cartels is certainly a more believable and smarter situation than straight up WW3 in regards to our current political climate
