Honesty and integrity is just one of the main reasons I watch, I always try to leave a comment even when I’m at a loss for words, I hit the like and watch yo the end. I’m trying to get my own channel started and know those are the things that matter. And because I find value in your content I feature your channel on mine as a recommended channel. Well let me tell you first thanks so much!!!! Awesome comments and who does not love being told they are appreciated?
Now the one piece of advice I can share about getting you channel going is................Make sure the content your sharing is something you would share with people even if You Tube or social media did not exist. You passion for the subject must be genuine, or the viewers will be able to tell no matter how well you edit and dress up the video!
To get monetized you must have 4k hours of content and 1k subscribers........Seems like a lot in content but it is an easy goal. But here is my advice on being monetized and getting a little money to pay for your channel......PUT BEING MONETIZED OUT OF YOUR HEAD...run you channel with passion and drive and the money will follow. Run the channel anyways no matter if you make money or not! It should be a passion you share regardless!!!!
3rd point there will be TROLLS . TROLLS are idiots who love to point out everything you do wrong or just bitch at you.
2 great ways to deal with them 1st ignore them and after they have left a few comments and it is clear they just are out to bring you down YT have a wonderful feature where you can block them and there comments are never again seen by you and more importantly your viewers. And the real beauty of it is they never know they have been blocked unless they take the time to go and see that their comments are not showing in the comments session a few days later. HOWEVER dont block them to soon give your regular subs a chance to deal with them!! I cannot tell you how many times i have been trolled by some idiot with no life and my viewers and subs start defending me and trolling him or her back...I love it!!!!
2nd great way and my favorite is to deal with them directly..go to their channel and subscribe to them...view there content which is 99% of the time nothing and point out to them . WOW I went to your channel and noticed you have nothing posted about your expertise in this subject, I on the other hand ajm trying and sharing what I love to do. I tell them please shar comments that we can ALL learn from not just bitching that helps no one!
Now get some editing software you can work with. Now when you get discouraged and are thinking about giving up........go down to your shop, grab a hammer and knock yourself out....When you come too you will have a much better outlook on the channel and cannot wait to go make some content.....after the headache goes away that is!!!!....LOL

also it cannot hurt to come up with a closing catch phrase! As you know I always say ," Faith , Family and Friends and then planes"..... It reflects my values and my life priorities. This makes it real and the viewers can sense that! So consider your catch phrase with care and stick with it.

@@FatGuyFliesRC thank you very much for the advice, here lately I’ve had a big surge of extremely helpful people giving me a nudge in the right direction. I have a local friend who has a decent size channel and the same type of content and he has proposed a deal to do some filming for his channel and him do some for mine and also target his audience. I have a deep interest in the hobby and money is not even a issue it’s all about making friends along the way.

U can add (+) expo on rudder & lessen ground twitchy-ness if u wanna. Jet, on hi rates, I run +100% expo. (Then +80%, & +50%). Makes ground control much more predictable & less sensitive.

Hey man I know you don’t know me from Adam but I’ve been trying to get this plane in Canada and can not purchase it.
