one of the 1st of a few miracle plant medicines I started at menopause. I have not had the traditional complaints of many women and I believe that this is one of the plants I can give thanks and praise to!!

I’ve made big jars of tea to address my headaches that stem from chronic neck pain and it helps so much. I should try the tincture 🖤

Thanks for the Black Cohosh teaching. Loving the opportunity to get acquainted with this plant medicine. After the previous talk you and Adam gave I began taking the tincture. So far experiencing a balancing of my nervous system and very informative dreams.

Thanks Ashley. Your garden women circle sounds fun. If I lived nearby I would be there. 💚. I have been taking the tincture over the full moon after your last video. Was also participating in a dance medicine healing circle. Black Cohosh I believed help me dive deep but gentle with my process. I soon have black moon Lilith conjunct my sun so I feel will be a plant friend for a bit longer. 🖤💚. Thanks for your video 🙏

Hi ! Thank you for this cool information! I got some black cohosh yesterday after watching the lunar eclipse video and then this video ! I started taking it like you suggested and already I have been feeling like it's helping with shadow work and I had very intense dreams all night !! Unfortunately, I can only remember bits and pieces of my dreams but they were definitely more intense than usual. I love what you say about this powerful plant ally and am looking forward to learning more from you. 🌱🐍🌿💚

This feels so pertinent to talk about black cohosh at this moment. I so love how you and Adam highlighted it for this recent eclipse season. I just learned about it with jim mcdonald during his visit to Sacred Plant Traditions in Charlottesville. I am now working with it via tincture, and oh my goodness what a powerful and present medicine. Thank you so much for this rich information. So much WOW to its actions and energetics. Also thank you for the super useful tips on how to harvest sustainably. I do hope to grow it since I live in Appalachia, to promote the population and harvest mindfully. I love the Algonquin translation, too. Much love and deep thank you for sharing on this magnificent being.

Really like the feminine herbalist perspective connected with these astrological aspects putting it all in a proper greater perspective. As a male herbalist I respect this a lot to hear. Also thoroughly enjoyed the Nettle breakdown. Much thanks; herbalists Rock no!?! ; D

@@desireecampbell5490 Hi Desiree! In the US, my favorite source is Herbalists & Alchemists as they make a really nice fresh root tincture. I’m not affiliated with them but I do like their products.

I decided to try the tincture after watching yours and Adam’s lunar eclipse discussion because I am a 6H Scorpio Sun and I’ve been struggling with work burnout (and world-weariness in general) for quite a while, without much resolution. I researched it first for contraindications, because I am male, and because I want SOME empirical data with my mysticism. 😁 I took the 3 drops before bed (wasn’t that bitter, really; mullein is much more bitter!) and asked the Deva of this plant to come into my dreamspace. I just wound up with a headache during the following day, both times, and decided it wasn’t worth it. I found the flower essence in my go-to source (not Bach and not FES) and will try that instead.😎

Very cool❣️ just found some on our property… I was looking up how to extract it from the plant… I’m wondering if you can take the bark or what do you do bullet? How do you get the oil from it…

That’s amazing you found black cohosh on your land. I would let it grow and support it by propagating it. There is a wonderful book called “growing endangered medicinal plants” by Richo Cech. It is actually pretty easy to do with black cohosh. You just dig up the root and, separate the rhizome so that you get a few plants with sprouts. Then you replant it in the soil and they’ll continue to propagate and grow. If you want to make a medicine from it, the root is the medicinal part. You can also harvest the root in a way where you don’t kill the plant and allow it to keep growing. I would look into this as having black cohosh on your land is a real treasure! Good luck!
