Thanks for the tip. I just planted 12 dozen starter trays. Tried tweezers, then went to a folded sheet of paper and tapping to roll the seeds off. Using the pencil is an excellent idea, and will make things much easier next time.
Thank you so much!!!! I am planting lebolia, coleus and petunia seeds for the first time this year. I was having problems because they are so tiny. Your method works very well!
Thanks, I've actually never heard of this method. I use a wet bamboo skewer to pick up individual seeds, but I think for some seeds the envelope method way may work best.
I used this method on Sunday to plant my radishes. I got tired of thinning out so much, now I'm hoping the thinning process will be less time consuming.
I made a new type of seeder for exactly this reason. I called it the Sow Perfect Seeder. You can see it at www.sowperfectseeder.com Check it out you may find it useful for the smallest of seeds and you can use it in a 72cell tray or direct sow in gardens. Love the video.
Thank you! This is genious and saves me from buying another gadget.
Simple is always best. Sarcasm is the cherry on top.
I just made 6 various sized seeders from the envelopes in my waste basket. I just subscribed to see what other ingenious ideas you have.
Sir, that was the most genius happenstance invention I think I’ve seen. I’m so thankful to have learned it from you! You are an absolute
gem 💎!
Thank you!!
Thank you. Blessed to bless others
