Something people tend to forget about in Xeno games; Gameplay has been canon since Xenogears, it's a major but briefly established plot point regarding the existence of Ether, and likewise, Topple and Arts are referenced in Xc1's story right at the start of the game, as are Affinity Links/Chain Links in Xc2. So Classes are also clearly important for this game, it'll be interesting to look into later on.
Remember what Noah said in the reveal trailer? "Fighting in order to live, and living in order to fight." We see now that it was VERY literal!

I never played xenoblade chronicles before but i soon wanna get into it and play the first 2 games and the direct for xenoblade chronicles 3 is making me more interested in this series alot more now than ever
It's a great series and each game has a ton of content. You will enjoy this franchise more if you play them in order xc1, 2 and 3. As someone who started with 2 and then went back to 1 I wish I had played it in order.
Also don't forget to play the dlc for 2 after finishing 2 since it is literally another game. It's a prequel but it's better to play it after.
Don't bother with x unless you really want to. It is more of a spinoff compared to 1 and 2. It's good but hard to get and can be played at anytime.
Sorry if I'm bothering you with this reply it's just that I want to make sure newcomers get the best experience out of these games since they are really great.
@@Azurald55 its no problem at all and im definitely gonna play the first 2 games before i get to xenoblade chronicles 3 just so i don't miss a thing and get as much as i can out of this series

What is melia doing. She's helped set up a world where people are born into conflict. Just like the first game.
She is being used by the villains.
You can make the same Argument against Nia. I think both of them are being manipulated by the villains with the ∞ symbols. They say in the trailer that the council is behind both sides of the conflict.

It's not dodging, it's to help to get into position faster. The final two effects like launch and daze have very short windows compared to break and topple.
They already hit the cast with the 10 year lifespan. Death flags all around. This can end in two ways tragedy or bittersweet. My favorite dishes with a side of themes of a better tomorrow that our characters won't get to enjoy.
Really feels like the climax of the first two games themes of death, life, and rebirth.
THE story is most definitely a time LOOP situation especially with that older evil version of Noah , I'm her for it and did you see Alexandra running, hot dawg

That could explain the people in the pods and why the bad guys said they can just grow more soldiers
Not a timeloop, otherwise the whole Flame Clock situation wouldn't matter in the long run.

The cat eared girl has to be like a doppelganger of Nia from 2 or some sort of descendant from a parallel universe or something. She has the weapons and sounds almost just like her.
She is a clone, they all are.
That is why they only live for 10 years.

Yeah, this game looks freaking dope, for sure! The class system looks cool, the story's gonna be a rollercoaster, the combat looks fun, and the exploration's definitely got potential! Looking forward to this game, no doubt!
Also, couple side notes:
1. Who else was surprised that Mio was a Tank (not that I'm complaining)!
2. (Because _someone_ has to say it) 18:34 Sieg Zeon!
I imagine mio being a tank was surprising to everyone considering that dual rings were healing weapons in xeno 2 and then changing it to an evasive tank class was a complete 180 to how the class was built before.
@@markos50100 Yeah, definitely, but I mean, compared to XC2, Twin Rings being a dodge tank actually makes more sense, no?
@@Altarahhn personally i see twin rings as a type of attack class. I really can't see how they would get agro using that. The swordmaster class would have been a better class for evade tank or at least by the description of the zephyr class, evade and counterattack. I guess you can toss the rings as a counterattack after evading.
@@markos50100 I imagine the Zephyr would be more focused on consistent DPS (kind of like an Attacker) to draw Agrro (the counterattacks might also deal quite a bit of damage, to facilitate this), compared to the Heavy Guard, who's probably more like the "classic" Tank, in that regard, but that's just my theory.
@@Altarahhn but then where is the tank portion of the class? I can see the swordsman class blocking more blows than twin rings. But oh well, the skills the class receives will dictate how it will work.

It’s totally awesome I like the Battle Art Classes Galore for the mechanic on the Character attacks and movement during in a battle in the each different divergence has to create more Powerful combat counterattack familiarity with XC2 Class for Fighter, Defender, Healer, Warrior, Wild Warrior, Master Fighter, Elite Defender, Elite Healer, Royal Warrior, Master Healer & More stuff like but the exact for XCX about their own stuff like: (Striker, Commando and Enforcer including: Samurai Gunner (Assault Rifle / Longsword)
Shield Trooper (Gatling Gun / Shield)
Winged Viper (Dual Guns / Dual Swords) & Lv. 4:
Full Metal Jaguar (Dual Guns / Dual Swords)
Astral Crusader (Sniper Rifle / Javelin)
Mastermind (Raygun / Knife)
Galactic Knight (Psycho Launcher / Photon Saber) also Bastion Warrior (Gatling Gun/ Shield) to. All content will be in Xenoblade Chronicles™️ 3 it’s meaning that we play those the one who using the Ouroboros it’s very cool and important for Noah, Mio, Lanz, Sena, Eunie, Vladi, Riku & Manana, Zeon, Fiona, Jupiter, Gray, Alexandria and a lot more characters that you change the Art Class Including new Heroes Joining in the Fray might be totally new and powerful with Arts to attack dangerous Suspension enemies.

Apparently the Vandham look-a-like is actually named Guernica Vandham and shares the same voice actor, English and Japanese. Definitely interested in learning more about him.
Look at Mios chest and you’ll see there’s a core crystal that’s exactly like Mia’s.
Something I haven’t seen too many people notice is that there seem to be two routes to the “driver combo” (I still call it the drover combo). Break and Topple are a constant, but we see in this that you can either use Launch and Smash, or Daze and Burst.
This trailer hit me really hard.

I just hope there are some locations that look new and not only like in 1 or 2. And why always 6 people in the party. I don't know if I like to have 2 healers 2 tanks and 2 attackers all the time. Seems pretty easy that way.

I did enjoy seeing more, too bad there wasn't much we didn't already know.
A ton more gameplay though so technically seeing more arts and combos _are_ something we didn't know despite the Twitter updates.
They’ve done a major improvement on the female characters since the 2nd game!!! Excellent work!!! The gameplay looks super simple, especially since I’m bad at these kinda games. Hope it’s gonna be that as long as it looks like it hits from your angle, it counts as an attack (like in Kirby And The Forgotten Land)

I tried getting into xenoblade but I don't like the combat. I don't like the feeling of being uninvolved with the combat except for using arts
hi Goro Akechi, then you are like me. Whether watch a playthrough or play on easy mode to breeze through the fight if you are interested to know the story before 3. Don't watch spoiler, because the story takes a while to build up but is definitely worth the wait. This is one of those games where the story is depressing but in the end you just felt so good finished this.
I'm more worried about how this story would retcon the character development of the character from the first two games. I enjoy the first two-game as I the not have much of a connection with them. This third game has a 1-year time skip of both games and it reduces the end for both to be pointless as there are still things trying to kill everyone.

It does seem like some type of mind control is at hand especially with all of these characters having the infinite symbol in their eyes.
@@kylewood4488-b9r And that is the problem. If it is mind control then it'll feel like the whole experience from the first two-game mean nothing. They went against god-class villains and they get tricked from simple mind control is just a horrible aftertaste. We have seen mind control happen in the first game and the struggle of that seeing it again makes the journey we had to go with them seem pointless if we back just to the beginning again.
@@eeeeggnog._. Nope. It has been confirmed by the official Wikia at it a year time skip. And it WIKIA and not WIKI that I check. Even the game says too. I enjoy a good timeskip as the next person but 1 year leads to a war to break and people having a 10-year lifespan just makes no fucking sense. They should have made it 100 years at least to get me into it. I think they just made the game just to cash in the success of the first two and did not even try to make things interesting. I'll be more focused on the previous character that would or won't make to the third game than these newer character. I'm just not going to enjoy these games at all due to how heavy it tries to connect the first two; it should have been its own universe with hints or no hint of a bigger universe.
Eh...might give it a rental at the least, I've never been big into the Xenoblade series.
Personally, I'm just slightly disappointed that it's Day 1 DLC. But having played XC2 and its DLC, I'm sure base XC3 is already well worth its price tag.

The story looks great. The world looks great. Having 7 freaking party members in combat is gonna be nuts. The classes look dope. But man that frame rate is baaad. Still going to play it, and likely love it. But there's no denying the game doesn't seem to perform great.
It's on the switch dude. The devs could be the best on the planet but weak hardware is weak hardware. Everyone who plays on switch knows this
