I grew up with and loved both Mixels and Mr. Men Show '08! I still have a lot of LEGO pieces I kept in my room from when I had a complete collection of Mixels around the time of the first 4-5 generations' launches. Of course they're all scrambled up and dismantled now, but I still feel a bit of comfort in me that I could easily build one of them again.
I also remember Mixels and The Mr. Men Show. But I wish I could buy one of the Lego Mixels sets someday because I've never had a chance to play with them in my life.
Here's a little fun fact relating to "The Mr. Men Show". Renegade Animation who were responsible for producing "The Mr. Men Show" are also the same company that produced "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi". Also, I wound up becoming a bit of a "Grojband" fan when I watched half of the series on Netflix back in 2016 and I also used to watch "The Annoying Orange" every week on TH-cam between late 2010- late 2012 (when the "Gangnam Style" parody premiered/was uploaded).
Hard to believe Mixels ran for three years and only had shorts and annual specials. There honestly was a lot of potential in a show like mixels. With the right writing staff and a longer runtime, then maybe the Lego theme could have lasted longer.

To this day, even as a kid, I will never understand why this prequel of Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs (which was never needed anyway) just ignored the lore of Flint and Sam first meeting in the first movie and instead meeting in some random generic school and having wacky misadventures around town, when they could of just made the show set after the events of the 2 movies and have some fun with it there.
Fun fact: The main villain of OK:KO was voiced by Trevor Philips' actor, Steven Ogg. Also it guest starred Johnatan Davis, frontman for the nu metal band korn.
As a huge Mr. Men and Little Miss fan, I'm very glad you added The Mr. Men Show! I remember watching the cartoons and reading the Little Miss books as a toddler.
I think My Gym Partners a Monkey got resurfaced recently compared to the other shows on this list. (Also, I never thought OK K.O. was really forgotten)
It was just requested a few times on the last video so I thought I'd look at it for them and also I particularly lacked knowledge on it so I had fun researching it
R.I.P Mixels! You guys were nostalgia brand and amazing show! You will be missed and never forgotten! I always loved you and your show and brand and introduction to legos! ❤😔
1. While Annoying Orange may have been obnoxious to some viewers with his jokes and puns, I still enjoy it nevertheless. 2. Hole in the Wall was a fun game show, despite airing on a channel meant for cartoons as part of its branding. 3. I’ve watched a few episodes of Mixels and found the concept of these creatures mixing together intriguing, not to mention the humor and adventures. Even the LEGO toys looked pretty cool and inspiring. 4. Although I had watched a few episodes of it back in the summer of 2013, it wasn’t until I rediscovered Grojband and decided to watch it again that I fell in love with the show once again for its concept, storytelling, songs, humor, and characters. Even though this show may have been given a poor schedule block and was overshadowed by some other CN shows (I actually enjoyed Adventure Time, Regular Show, Gumball, Steven Universe, Uncle Grandpa, and Total Drama; Teen Titans Go! can go bite Bender’s shiny metal ass), it’s severely underrated that it deserves a second/revival season to flesh out the characters and expand upon the story. Additionally, rediscovering this show has allowed me to notice its coincidental similarities to Phineas and Ferb, which I also adore, and I’m glad I’m not the only one to notice this. Like P&F and the good CN shows I listed, Grojband will have a place in my heart because it makes me inspired to write a song and play a new instrument (minus stealing a diary for lyrical inspiration).
MIXELS FOR LIFE!!!! Mixels it what inspired me to make my own Cartoon one day (Angry Birds aswell), it was my childhood and only CN show that i enjoyed (well, almost. i also enjoyed shows like Ninjago, Chima, Uncle Grandpa, Steven Universe....etc) 2014 was a nostalgic year for me. wish i could go back.

Woody :We heard what’s going on Ariel : Melody told us about the Mixels you were about to save Lincoln : we would never the Mixels garbage it’s still part of our childhood even when it’s canceled SpongeBob : and some of the Mixels have the same voice actors like Tom Kenny
Im a Cartoon Network og so I remember watching Mad, Annoying Orange, Uncle Grandpa, Destroy build destroy, hole in the wall, my gym partners a monkey, Foster home of imaginary friends, etc. Man the list goes on😓.
the Mixels character designs always looked so unique and cool to me and which is why I still remember the Mixels. I also remember having a picture comic book about the Mixels. Mixels the great.
I remember Grojband quite well, and many of the episodes were quite intriguing with their storylines. I also thought it was funny whenever they made Trina angry or fall in love and she would write the lyrics to a song down in a diary for the band to play during the climax of each episode.
Hey there! If you ever do a Part 3, here are some very good forgotten suggestions that you should definitely review! *Generator Rex* - A guy named Rex is infected by nanites and turned into something called an "Evo." This gives him the power to grow machines out of his body (and in his case, reabsorb them as well). He is recruited by a faction called Providence for the sake of helping other Evos be cured of their mutations. This show aired alongside Regular Show and Adventure Time. Easy to tell why this show was so easily overlooked, but it's still a good show if you understand that. *Sym-Bionic Titan* - Three aliens named Ilana, Lance, and Octus crash land on Earth after trying to escape an evil alien general that took over their home planet. As they disguise themselves as humans who go to high school, they must also protect themselves and Earth from the evil general's attacks and mutant dispatches. To defend themselves, Octus activates a defense mechanism that allows them to transform into the Sym-Bionic Titan. Probably one of the most underrated shows that Cartoon Network aired. Everyone LOVED it apparently, but it only received a single season. It’s also home to one of the dirtiest scenes Cartoon Network has ever aired (look it up, should be a girl dancing exotically in front of Octus). Otherwise, a very underrated show that definitely deserves more love. And finally, *Firebreather* - (Not a cartoon, but a TV movie that definitely DESERVED a cartoon series of its own.) Duncan is a 16 year old teen with an overprotective mom who has moved to a new school. Unfortunately, he's a bully magnet. However, as he gets into a fight in his new school, Duncan discovers that he can breathe fire. This is because he is half-human, and half-dragon, and his father is a member of the Kaiju. As a war between humans and the Kaiju slowly erupts, Duncan’s father asks him to join the ranks of his side. This leaves Duncan realizing that he can no longer ignore his human side. (Movie link, watch it before it gets copyrighted: m.th-cam.com/video/9DSv2Ll_vME/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUcZmlyZWJyZWF0aGVyIGNhcnRvb24gbmV0d29yaw%3D%3D) This movie is seriously underrated. I'm pretty happy I got to watch it now, since all I could find were clips when I was a kid, and Firebreather was still on Cartoon Network's website. Especially with some of the cartoons we have now, Firebreather could have had a much better series than the low-brow cartoons on Cartoon Network that we have today. Hey, Firebreather was surprisingly referenced in OK K.O. as well! It was in that massive Cartoon Network crossover episode, and Duncan was one of the statues among the many others, pretty surprised that the writers actually remembered Firebreather- :0
I can definitely say half of these were my childhood. While shows like Mixels and Annoying Orange came later in life, My Gym Partners a Monkey and Mr Men show were amazing. Every evening they’d have MGPaM all the way up to the movie “ The Big Field Trip “ while Mr Men show was the first show to come on after Adult Swim wrapped up for the morning and I loved how weird it was
First saw the Mr. Men Show towards the end of its Boomerang run when I had a semester in middle school that I basically got to skip first period for (it's a long story; it was airing there at 8 AM for me.) I've loved it ever since, and it's been about 12 years. The franchise as a whole, I soon learned, is far more popular with children on the other side of the pond. It did originate there, so that's not surprising to me. There were also other cartoons with more faithfulness to the books before the one that aired on CN, the last of which had an even more obscure American dub in the late 90's. Almost all of the British cartoons are on TH-cam somewhere, including the ones they made in the 70's/80's with the plots of the books. (some minor alterations included, most notably in Miss Naughty's 1983 cartoon, due to censors not liking a part where Miss Naughty "removes" Mr. Bump's full-body bandages. She has a more agreeable version on TV with the classic "order a lot of expensive food and send the bill through the mail to a character that always comes off as a cheapskate." This cheapskate character was in the books but was not in the CN show. Some of his other appearances are very reminiscent of the cheapness that later defined Mr. Krabs in Spongebob.
I honestly only watched the Mr. Men Show once as a kid and I thought nothing of it. I was bored sick. Years later, I get reminded of the show’s existence and I gave the show a full watch. The sketches, musical numbers, and skits were so entertaining to me that I personally believe the cartoon was one of those “hidden gems” of the late 2000s in the time where CN was just a shambling mess. Really sad that CN just shoved it to air at 1:30pm when most kids are at school
I haven't forgotten about Mixels. I remember in 2014-2016 they were selling really well and each tribe of them were interesting. It just sucks that they didn't have a long run.
If you do forgotten Nickelodeon/Nicktoons shows please looks into these: * Brothers Flub * Super Duper Sumos * Yakkity Yak * Shuriken School * The Mighty B * Ricky Sprocket: Showbiz Boy * Glenn Martin D.D.S. * Get Blake * The Twisted Timeline of Sammy and Raj (This one too recent, but it will be forgotten years to come)
OK KO was shafted. It was the most Newgrounds show to air on a mainstream network before Smiling Friends came along. The scrappy yet polished visuals and offbeat sense of humor meant it was unlike anything else that aired before and was a gamer’s wet dream in cartoon form. It even had a reverse furry convention, one of the most out-of-left-field gags in TV history.
My favorite cartoon out of this video is the Mr. Men Show. It's basically a child friendly 2d Robot Chicken with simple shapes (circles, squares, and triangles)
ngl I forgot / didn't know some of these were on CN more than I actually forgot the shows themselves.Thanks to a handful of them being on teletoon as well.
0:58 It all seems like it was Yesterday, "Nixels" was the first episode I've ever watched. I've remembered watching new shorts online and the specials on TV. I've even pretended to be like in a movie theater. It's so amazing that this 2-year running show would become a cult classic to this wholesome day. 🥹
Have you also known of this show called Apple and onion? It’s another forgotten and niche Cartoon Network show I have watched on max It’s about these two Food dudes who live in the city
I remembered Mixels from the start, like I wanted to get the Lego Mixels toys, the first Mixel I had was Scorpi, I was 6 when i first started watching Mixels, what was youe first Lego Mixel, let me know
when you realize mixels i the first 2d lego cartoon. the mr men show and scaredy squirrel were completely lef tin the vault for me. I forgot those ever existed, the the mr men show looks so dang familiar.
if there's a next part, maybe talk about some forgotten Cartoon Cartoons, mike lu & og, robot jones, sheep in the big city, time squad, never see anyone talk about those as fondly as a Dexter's or Powerpuff
Part 3 is definitely in the gameplan for the future. I'm gonna lean into a few other different things before I go back for a third part, but I'll definitely look at Sidekick in that video!
Annoying Orange is not only a web series on TH-cam, it is also a TV series that used to be on Cartoon Network and it's called "The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange", or "Annoying Orange HFA" for short.
TBH, I loved watching the annoying orange tv show and still enjoy it as a teen. (I was born in 2008 so I had this as my childhood, but I also had Mixels in my childhood.

The sketches, musical numbers, and skits were so entertaining to me that I personally believe the cartoon was one of those “hidden gems” of the late 2000s in the time where CN was just a shambling mess. Really sad that CN just shoved it to air at 1:30pm when most kids are at school

The Mr.Men show was such an interesting show. I can’t remember a single moment of the show but when i see it I remember how much i liked watching it
Seeing the scaredy squirrel intro gave me PTSD
How?
Same here
I haven't forgotten about Mixels. I remember in 2014-2016 they were selling really well and each tribe of them were interesting. It just sucks that they didn't have a long run.
If you do forgotten Nickelodeon/Nicktoons shows please looks into these:
* Brothers Flub
* Super Duper Sumos
* Yakkity Yak
* Shuriken School
* The Mighty B
* Ricky Sprocket: Showbiz Boy
* Glenn Martin D.D.S.
* Get Blake
* The Twisted Timeline of Sammy and Raj (This one too recent, but it will be forgotten years to come)
Actually, The Mighty B isn't that forgotten anymore. It actually got resurfaced recently, thanks to Paramount+ and X.
(Even tho I don't like X...)
Don't forget Kappa Mikey
Adding Purple and Brown and Domo
Catscratch is so forgotten that nobody even knows it exists
What about Regal Academy?
The Mr. Men Show was the best
mixels has a special place in my heart for being a major reason for my lego phase
I know right ❤❤❤❤
Lego mixels hits hard man and old lego ninjago
OK KO was shafted. It was the most Newgrounds show to air on a mainstream network before Smiling Friends came along. The scrappy yet polished visuals and offbeat sense of humor meant it was unlike anything else that aired before and was a gamer’s wet dream in cartoon form. It even had a reverse furry convention, one of the most out-of-left-field gags in TV history.
If you're for good Canadian music , Grojband is a great option
I remember most of these shows. I never heard of mr men though. But They were really fun to watch. I had as many mixel toys as i could get.
My favorite cartoon out of this video is the Mr. Men Show. It's basically a child friendly 2d Robot Chicken with simple shapes (circles, squares, and triangles)
I Missed Watching Mixels, I Believe It's Deserves More Seasons And Episodes.

Me

MIXELS IS OUR FAVOURITE SHOW
Never forget any of these shows
ngl I forgot / didn't know some of these were on CN more than I actually forgot the shows themselves.Thanks to a handful of them being on teletoon as well.
as a personal fan, mixels was like the monolith of on the spectrum
0:58 It all seems like it was Yesterday, "Nixels" was the first episode I've ever watched. I've remembered watching new shorts online and the specials on TV. I've even pretended to be like in a movie theater. It's so amazing that this 2-year running show would become a cult classic to this wholesome day. 🥹
Remember when Pokémon was on Cartoon Network? Now it's been banished to Netflix.
I do remember! I watched that plenty of mornings before school.
Have you also known of this show called Apple and onion? It’s another forgotten and niche Cartoon Network show I have watched on max It’s about these two Food dudes who live in the city
I've heard of it, I had already stopped watching Cartoon Network by the time it premiered
Weirdly i can remember shows that i saw when i was younger than 6 but cant remeber my lunch a week ago

if there's a next part, maybe talk about some forgotten Cartoon Cartoons, mike lu & og, robot jones, sheep in the big city, time squad, never see anyone talk about those as fondly as a Dexter's or Powerpuff
There's a show called ozzy&drix
I’m pretty sure when this second part gets More Views, you might Put the forgotten Cn show Sidekick on Part 3
Part 3 is definitely in the gameplan for the future. I'm gonna lean into a few other different things before I go back for a third part, but I'll definitely look at Sidekick in that video!
I still remember The Mr. Men Show and Grojband
Yeah Pretty Enjoyable
I never forgotten the Annoying Orange.
You're gonna love my next video then!
@@ajytabbott2004 What will it be about?
Remember mixels, pivirage farm remembers
Clarence and Uncle Grandpa are great TV shows.
Annoying Orange is not only a web series on TH-cam, it is also a TV series that used to be on Cartoon Network and it's called "The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange", or "Annoying Orange HFA" for short.
Mixels is 10 years old now
