Man, you can't switch the lever to park while driving. Most modern cars have technology to prevent you from doing that.

Just curious about your comment on the location of the shift stalk. I assume that the turn signal stalk is on the left is because in Europe they drive on the opposite side than we do, (Euro=left US=right sides) perhaps that's the reason the turn signals are on the left not of the right of the steering column. Also you state where the stalks "should" be? For example the shift stalk "should" be were the transmission tunnel would be just below the center stack. I believe MB placed the shift stalk in the column to increase overall room and storage in the center stack area.
I drive a VW the set up is similar as far as were my turn signals are (on the left side of the steering column) Must be a German/Euro thing.
The comment on the height of the vehicle as regards to "shorter" people, were they may have difficulty in entering the because it is higher in height than a sedan. Pretty obvious. Kind of saying "you will get burned if you touch a hot stove".
Other than those comments I did enjoy your video(s).

They’ve been on that side since the beginning. It’s continuity. Even on RHD vehicles the stalks stay in the same place.

Europe drives on the right side of the road, steering on the left side of the car like in North America. The Uk drives on the left side and they are not really part of Europe. 😉

Ignorance is NOT bliss. If you hit the park button at highway speeds, the car will NOT go into Park and will NOT result in an expensive repair. And as for the position of all the controls...go drive a Chevy if that's what you're looking for. The last time I checked, Mercedes wasn't owned by Chevy.
