This was a super interesting phone, After trying it out the last time we visited, I would buy one if it weren't for the lack of waterproofing, and ideally a headphone port. Being someone who works outside and frequently needs to read a wiring diagram or service manual in direct sunlight, even the best traditional lcd, led, oled, you name it screens struggle even with the brightness maxed out. The color and refresh rate made it less than ideal for gaming or photography/videography, but any more I get frustrated when the tiny computer in my pocket ends up not ringing or notifying me of a new text while I'm using it and a return to a less bloated, more functional basic phone like the enV2 I had years ago would be welcome as long as it could ring and receive messages reliably. I would be very interested to see the next version that Bigme comes up with
Another great video! And a rollercoaster of should I, shouldn't I get one, landing on the future looks bright for this phone. The idea of it is really cool. Also thought the backdrops were highly original and enjoyed the equalizer thoroughly and cant say ive seen anyone else do that before. Kudos my friend!
Honestly I've been thinking about e-ink devices for white a while and the biggest thing stopping me from getting an e-ink phone was the price points. These minimalist style phones tend to be unreasonably expensive but this is very promising
It functions well if you tinker enough with it. Biggest drawback that this model has is no safety from water. But hopefully the next version improves that.

This makes it very inconvenient since I always have to use the physical button to turn on the screen. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated!"

Here's hoping they buff it up a bit! The palma is waterproof to some degree so there isn't much reason other than cost to hold back on it.

If I had one I would install Olauncher with a full white background.

I haven’t tried to use it myself, is it not responding at all? Or just unreliable?
