    Hey, Amit! Fellow Canadian brown man here, who got his 3000+ graft hair transplant about 10 days ago (was somewhere between a Norwood 2.5 to 3, without the crown thinning). I've been following your work for some time, and while my thinning was more in its early-ish stages (15+ years of fin-min usage successfully slowed down my thinning and significantly postponed my need for an HT), your information has been incredibly helpful. Not to mention, it's admirable that you're sharing your story so publicly and doing so much to help people with similar struggles. Keep up the amazing work.
    As a 'veteran' of the hair loss community of 15+ years, here are some [unsolicited] thoughts on your current dilemma (feel free to disregard, if not relevant):
    (1) You're doing the right thing by waiting another 3 months to see the full extent of the growth from the most recent transplant. From what you described, it sounds like the crown is thickening up consistently, so it's pretty likely that the coverage on your crown increases significantly by month 18.
    (2) If, god forbid, you still see coverage that's not where you'd want it to be, my first suggestion would be to get PRP. This would involve a Month 1, Month 2, and Month 3 treatment....after which, it'll be one treatment every 6 months. PRP will add such brilliant volume to the hair overall that it will give you the added coverage to supplement that of your transplant. Basically, you'll get that full coverage you're looking for, if for any reason your transplant doesn't get you all the way there.
    I was a bit surprised, TBH, that you haven't been doing/talking about PRP considering it is one of the most potent MPB-reversing treatments out there (at par with fin-min, if not superior to). So even if there isn't a coverage issue by month 18, I would still strongly recommend doing PRP and recommending it to your followers.
    (3) Not my favorite thing in the world, but there's also the SMP option if (again, god forbid) the transplant fails to deliver by month 18.
    (4) One piece of honest feedback. Your transplant journey has been nothing short of magically transformative, but a quick note about your current look. If I randomly saw you on the street and had no clue about your back-story, with the way you wear your hair, you look like a guy in his mid-30's who previously had a full head of hair and now has a receding hairline that he's trying to hide with a comb-over-ish hair do. Not sure you went through all the blood, sweat, and tears to get to your current head of hair...only for it to look like a combover.
    You might seriously wanna consider a third transplant to bring forward the hairline by a bit, to take away the 'receding hairline-hiding with a combover' look OR quaffing your current hair by using a blow dryer, some thickening hairspray, and some toppik. The quaffed, Ben Affleck-kinda hairstyle automatically eliminates the 'I'm hiding my receding hairline/hairloss with a combover' look that you've currently got going.
    Feel free to do with this data what you need to. Getting off my soapbox now.
    Keep up the amazing work.

      congrats on getting yours done!! hopefully my videos has helped you in any way.
      I do feel like i will wait for the 18th month to start thinking about maybe starting PRP. I personally did not want to do it solely to see if i could achieve my final result without it as I did not need it for my first. There are options like SMP and a third hair transplant but i honestly am not sure how i feel about it all just yet.
      but to your last point, I do feel like this may be enough as well. I am very content with how it has turned out and I am ever so grateful it did. even if i dont have it perfect, its still such an acheivement for me and its truly transformed my life for the better. No regrets or complaints!
      thank you though for the incredible insight and suggestions! really appreciated reading through you comment! I hope your recovery is going well too!

    Amit, I was thinking of hair transplant because I’m miserable because of my hair, but you probably can relate to that, obviously not now but I wanted to tell you your video is absolutely fantastic. The way you explained everything what you use how you use it and the whole process fantastic job I mean that, I was just curious about one thing,cost?

      hey man i know exactly how you feel, i definately felt the same before i got my transplants done and its completely normal. But trust me, if and when you decide to go, once your hairs start growing out, you'll feel completely transformed. For the cost, i spent 2850 euros at the time when i went during covid. I made a full breakdown of the cost of both transplants here if you want to take a look!

      that's a great topic! i made many mistakes before finding the right hair stylist after my hair transplant and it gave me A LOT of anxiety every time i went in to get a hair cut. But honestly, its just about communicating with who ever is going to cut your hair and making sure they understand fully about what you went through and how they can adjust their style of cutting to that. I may make a full video about this going in depth!

      @@amitposthair But would you say that you have the same kind of coverage thickness and density if you were to cut your hair short? In one of your videos you went to a barber who cut your hair/crown too short and your crown was more visible than you thought. Do you think the hair cut matter at this month or has it really grown out more in coverage? I know doing a backslick or combing it back can hide the thinning area more but is it different this time would you say? Would you be willing to test and experiment by cutting your hair short again to see?

    Hi Amit, my doctors recommends that should massage my scalp twice a day, I’m currently on the 15th day post surgery. When I massage my scalp I notice a lot of hairs on my hand which is slightly putting me off doing it. How necessary are scalp massages, isn’t the increase in blood flow that you get from applying minoxidil enough?

    • @babo3324
      @babo3324 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wtf, massaging in the first 2 weeks doesn’t seem like a good idea

    • @amitposthair
      @amitposthair  หลายเดือนก่อน

      i wouldnt recommend scalp massages so soon. You should only be rubbing that area when you are showering or if you're itching! Scalp massages are necessary but you should wait at least after you've healed up from your surgery. Id suggest start doing that after a month

    Hi Amit, I was that Vera Clinic a few weeks ago and they recommended me a stem cell therapy HT due to limited donor hair and the maximum could be 2800 to 3000 grafts, they might be able to get 1000 additional grafts from the beard to help. They said I am a Norwood scale 4 so do you have any advice on this? Or know anyone who has had stem cell therapy done. I am 50/50 because for some people wherever they get their HT done, have either good experience or bad. Thanks

    • @amitposthair
      @amitposthair  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Having good donor hair is essential to a good hair transplant in my opinion. I was fortunate enough to have a good amount so thats why i think my results turned out really good. But if you can, getting additional grafts from your beard could be a good option. Stem cell i've heard is good as well but i personally did not do any so i cant give you full advice on that unfortunately. Hope that helps though!

    • @shibby1214
      @shibby1214 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@amitposthair they said i have good donor hair but limited to 3000 which is why they were looking at the beard and stem cell therapy. i do like the idea of stem cell but not FDA approved and not seen any reviews on it whatsoever so im just deciding before i book with them.
