- I'm going to Venice ITALY for one and one reason only, and that is for their FOOD. I can't wait to take my first bite of their PIZZA and have that dough melt in my mouth.

I actually prefer when ur trips are without ur crew but ofc i understand why u have them :) when ur vlogging / filming by urself the vibe of the videos are different and i like it!:) keep up the good work. I went to venice, florence, rome, last yr and also visited pompeii (which was amaaazing) and pisa (overrated) :P
Chi Chi more crew means more money to spent. mike only brought crew when travel to asia cause living cost are more cheap than europe i guess.

I also went to Italy back in 2005. Spent time in Venice, which is BEAUTIFUL! All the art, architecture, people, food and culture is incredible. Hope to go back one day. But this time to Rome and Tuscany (Florence and Siena).

I was in Venice in 2016. It was such a memorable trip. Your introduction is more focused on food while I went there for all the attractions like the Bridge I’d Sigh, Ducal Palace, St. Mark’s Square and St. Mark’s Cathedral. I love Europe as a whole. I have been to 19 different European countries and 44 different cities there and am still craving more. My next destinations should be more focused on United Kingdom, Spain and Portugal as I have basically traveled to most European countries already.
Hi Mikey...United isn't the first to serve sundae ice cream. I flew virgin Atlantic JFK to LHR back in the mid 90's and in business was served sundae ice cream with cookies n cream. I can't wait to see what food adventure u bring us to in Italy!

If you fly a lot, it makes it a hell of a lot cheaper with customer loyalty. I think it’s usually the same price for Business class for me as a regular ticket now. All in all, I don’t think it’s that worth it if you don’t fly multiple times a month.
Venice is an amazing place. Out of any country that I have visited Italy is the one I'd love to go back to. I loved Venice and it's people are so kind and generous. Even though there are a lot of dark little alleys I felt safe walking around as a single female just like the locals told me I'd be. I arrived in Rome in the evening and the first thing I ate was a cheese pizza that was delicious. The owner of the restaurant came to sit with me and helped me decide what to see first. I was impressed with how welcoming everyone was.

I love to make food and eat while watching Mike Chen’s videos. Watching his face go ecstatic with all those international foods makes my own food taste better. That said, how on earth is he so rich to go on business class and all those nice hotels and like 10 vacations a year??? Is he a TH-cam millionaire?

Italy, is awesome. We really enjoyed Venice. Wish we had gotten to ride the gondolas but it was extra rough & rainy that day we went. Be aware of pickpockets. If you like tiramisu, there's a place just outside of venice that it originated from.

I love Venice! We were only there for 40 hours but it was the best 40 hours! Stayed in a hostel about 2 canals over from the Piazza san Marco. Amazing how quiet and deserted it was even that close to a popular tourist spot. The hostel owner recommended a tiny, back alley restaurant and that was the best plate of spaghetti I've ever had.
Venice is the only city I've ever been to that went beyond my expectations. Truly an amazing city. Italy is awesome, in Florence we had Gusta Pizza and no pizza to date has been better
italy does have amazing food! the icecream alone is already worth it and that's just icecream!

Good Info. when I fly united I check out all the seat maps when I book my seat. The newer 1-2-1 is so much more private and each seat has direct aisle access because what you have said before is so true about bothering someone else when u have to get up for the bathroom.

It is always delightful to see the amazing knife skills demonstrated in Japanese restaurants, and then strange, in what looks to be a fine dining Korean restaurant, they break out with scissors to cut meat in front of patrons. Have a glorious time in Italy; I look forward to your updates. 🍕

I love Venice maze haha I took my Asian dad to Venice and maybe I forgot to tell him the destination but while siting around the water eating, he said suddenly 'oh this place looks like Venice, on TV documentary I once saw'.. oh I laughed out loud and told him, yes this is Venice! Haha
Solo trips are always fun. My next solos will be in Seoul, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Seychelles.
I love Venice. It is so easy to get lost there that I would always pay extra to stay in accommodation near the Grand Canal. If you are on or near the Grand Canal, you can always find your way back. Have a fabulous day!
