@@dawaerbaguer3963 Aye those are solid light tactile switches, but I would say that they are not really cheap too, which might be a deal breaker for some. Availability is also another issue. If they want to try a different switch, akko lavender purples would be a good budget option. Tactile bump isn't that strong, but not as little as what brown switches have.
@@tarks2835 Were talking about the tactile bump and first of all reds a linear and blues are clicky and these switches are made by RK not cherry or gateron
oh yes. I bought the rk61 originally to immediately change out the switches for maybe some linears, but I have loved the sound the spacebar makes and the (light) thock of Tab and enter
I havent even modded keebs yet, but to lube all you do is use a little brush and apply lube to the stabs, switches, etc. Theres tons of guides here for certain keyboard modding or just learning how to mod a keeb. Like I said, I havent even modded a keeb yet but it’s something you definitely want to do
The difficulty isn't that high, it's just meticulous and monotonous. If you have just a few it isn't bad, but if you're doing an entire keyboard (and especially if it's the first time), put on a podcast/an audiobook/your favorite lofi playlist and get comfy.
That is quite a noticeable difference also kudos for the good sound quality to pick up the difference!
Decent sounding build! Brown Switch can be good too for people who really prefers light tactility.
Get pewters if you want that browns suck for even light tactility

Im pretty sure they aint light when u press against them compared to red and blue switches

Honestly, unlubed doesn't even sound that bad. I actually kinda prefer unlubed over lubed, and I like the spacebar.

@@michae1_5306funny cus that's the only key I'm iffy about
I need that lubed keyboard !!! Nice and Clean Video!
Does tactilty still in there or it become light like reds?
Mind sharing what key caps you are using? Or the profile? Looks like cherry?
Yes it is..its called GMK 9009 retro..but he might be using a clone one..
Can you pls make a 100 dollars budget keyboard
Would you let me use this video in one of my own videos? Bc im like trying to do like a before and after rk61 sound test pretty much
Sure, as long as you credit me
I really need to do this to my vata pro
I really want to make my rk61 sound like that but I don’t have any clue how to lube or anything is it easy to lube or hard

Lubed sounds way cleaner
rks browns are actually really good in stock form I honestly might not switch them with radiant reds
Yih
do not lube your browns omg........lube the springs only.
Hi, Is this cherry profile? No interference on the switch due to south facing led?
nope this is OEM
@@kaitodesu Do you have the link to purchase the keycaps?
How does it feel after lubing?
more smooth and solid, no loose noises
uhhhhh this is not what it sounds like i just bought one today and it sounds more better then the first one
:/
