I’m a large rider 235pounds…I found a ktm 520 4 stroke …and it’s been the absolute perfect machine…in the trails stick it in third and basically leave it there…just so much torque…63 horsepower hard not to wheelie actually
In the near future "we the adrenaline junkies" we'll get to hit such heights. Great trails there. I love it...

Enduro looks like a lot of fun. Never done anything but tarmac/track, and there's just something about being forced to go slow(er) instead that even makes me as a viewer want more. I do trail riding with a bicycle though, which is pretty similar just without an engine of course. It's never been about the miles themself, but the amount of fun you can cram into them.
Oh, and when you get home you realize you brought half the woods with you ...
Exactly. I have been riding fast on the road (175 HP zx10r, still have it)
But I really feel that that gets very dangerous long before it gets fun.
Where enduro, can ofcause also be dangerous, but at least for me, its much more fun than dangerous.
No driver in a car is gonna not see you because the person is texting, or putting on makeup :-)
@@sund5 100 mph feels like nothing on sportbikes, and it's a bit sad to be honest. You got all this power that you can't really use(at least on the street), and time and time again I've just had way more fun on twisty roads in more or less legal speeds. I've owned and tried the fastest bikes myself as well and to this day I've had more fun on a proper supermoto because it's just instant power and you do wheelies like nothing.
I've done lots of trackdays though, but that's with licenseplates. You quickly reach the point where you want to try the real thing, and then you realize the cost of it all. I never made that move because even doing budget racing quickly do cost as well.
@@a8f235 Agree. Dont really have much to add, other than I think its sad so many often young men get killed on fast sport bikes because yes 160 dont feel like much today.
Bikes got better. But our body goinf from fast to standstill in a few meters. Still destroys in the same way..

I found that last yr thought dont want to go with the rest on ktms so brought a beta300rr as loved the look and was only a few about betas full stop a this last season bloody hell theres loads of them now

Thanks to you i went ahead and just bought my bike again. Sadly i ended up with a 03 yz450f but i found a trade for a 07 crf250r kid couldnt start it. just needed a new spark plug so a win for me!

i love dirt bikes I have one it is an 85cc i did supercross now i do enduro. :]
As most others have said it looks great fun, to be able to ride so far with a variety of terrain is the best. Also echoing what others have said is that your riding has improved massively. Not cocky with it just more confident, I am 72 and want to do an event as still have my 400 EXC. There is an event on this weekend but can’t make it. However wondered as you do rides most weeks do the WOR events stop in May or are there events all year round where you are. I live in Cornwall so would probably travel to the Midlands or Wales etc. Cheers, Rob.

Do you have a steering stabilizer? If you don't you should make it your birthday gift. It would give you a lot more confidence to go faster.

The reason you aren't so fast is you lack speed around the corners, and if you gave it a bit more gas down the straights, you would be unstopable anyway. I really like your content. Keep up the good work ❤
