One persons day messing about in a prop department turns in to a life long obsession for millions. “It was just some stuff I glued together that looked neat” lol love it
Nice to see some close up video of the gauntlet! I 3D Printed one of these for my spouse just before the movie came out and there wasn't a lot of pictures to go by.
Now I get how it works. Okay, so it's intended to be a one-shot version of the wand powered by the mini single-point cyclotron on the back. Though it appeared that Jeanine fired it several times pretty consistently during the finale. I'll have to look at that part again. Being the Derringer version of a Proton pack/wand works for me. Another prop to build for when my GB group goes to conventions. Thanks for the great detail on the prop Adam. It must be difficult sitting on this cool stuff for a year or more from when they're filming until you can release the footage.
@@bedfordshiremodeller4491 Be great if they did one :) hope some of the good people at RPF and/or GBFans identify the real parts used and have some build threads there also
Was also thinking that... Being a fan & backer (like most of the rest of us all) of Haslab's other fantastic GB Gear, I'd line-up for one of these as-well!!! :D
I laughed when this came on screen. Looks cool but I really think you want that chaotic beam of particles and lightning to be happening away from your hand
While it looks good it makes no sense in the GB universe really. Its a single shot as demoed by 'Lucky' in the lab scene. So what use is it when you're trying to trap a ghost which needs a constant stream to wrangle them and manoeuvre them above the trap? It'll probably make a good toy for Hasbro to sell at some point, but 'in universe' it really makes no sense.
@@Myyoutubehandle507 That’s the saddest reply ever. We all saw the movie. There’s 0 explanation of the device and how it works. Why is there no accelerator? What’s the advantage? Why doesn’t everyone have one? Is it limited? What does it do? Why is it there? Don’t make up lore. Tell me in canon what it’s used for. You can’t because it’s never explained.
I KNOW that the people who wrote/directed/produced the modern ghostbusters films today are of my nostalgia fuelled generation, yet I find it incredible their main takeaway of what ghostbusters was is "lots of ghost busting gadgets like a rachet and clank game" Am I wrong? Is it because y'all's nostalgia rotted brains just love collecting crap? Is that the actual take away?

Often how it works. Many coveted props are just "stuff we had laying around and put together because we needed a whatever" 🤣
I never get tired of seeing these types of videos from Adam.

They should have had the beam barrel extend slightly past the hand to prevent "severe burns" from the "heat/current" from when it goes off.
@@Gett_Raccd lol
@@Gett_Raccd Dude, relax... DANIEL is just throwing his in universe ideas for further improvements out there, that's all. ;-)
YES!! Thank you Adam... I'm sure us GBs will be using it for reference :)

Was thinking the same exact thing...
You're such a big fan 😊😊😊
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
Reminded me of the arm-mounted miniaturized proton pack in the comics.
thats awesome when are we getting a ODB of Adam making his own? Lol.
Was hoping this video would happen! Great to see more details, I definitely want to add a high end replica of this to my Ghostbusters stuff
I'm sure Hasbro will get right on it in their R/D department

Hey. That is so cool!
I'm surprised that Hasbro haven't announced or revealed any toys of this.
"I'd buy that for [more than] a dollar"
Me too, considering they did a similarly sized Magic the Gathering Chandra Nalaar roleplay gauntlet

About time. I've been building one of these for my wife
Really needs a splash guard between the end of the barrel and the top of the hand.
yeah, or a really cool armoured glove
@@nathanwood5977 Yup. You can tell the person who designed that has never been around any real high energy nozzles.
I love your videos
Please tell me theres one coming sbout the new flying drone trap
Ben Hall, national treasure! We had a great time chatting with him on the YourGeekFix channel.
Somebody gonna mash that up with a Pip-Boy.
Post apocalyptic Ghostbusters? Oh yeah.
a Wandboy?! I love it, somebody has to do this! (I haven't got time) ;-)
Another amazing video ❤🔥
I’m building one of these but it’s not mirrored. I’m right handed bet the feel of this kind of equipment just feels better on my left hand
Uncomfortably early to this video
Thank you
If you ever make another Thunderbirds fan film, will you include Thunderbirds 1 and 2?
Good work sir
This is amazing
Well, now I have to build one....
Good Mr. Savage, any chance you did the gb community a solid and got some good ref photos of this? Would be greatly appreciated.
the handle looks like a housing for a pneumatic solenoid.
Hi Adam big fan ...can you please throw some light on RoboCop suit
GROOVY!
I need one
All I need to know is if Hasbro is going to sell this?
I laughed when this came on screen. Looks cool but I really think you want that chaotic beam of particles and lightning to be happening away from your hand
Fun❗️
HasLab 2025? I'd buy one.
JP Hobby offers an amazing array of RC electric turbines... nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

That guy looks like he has two arms from different ppl, his left arm and hand is twice the size of his right
Crosswinds over 300 kph, watch the shear.
I can already see Adam building one for himself, he was already trying to source the parts...
Too bad we never really got to see what it does. How it works or why it’s in the movie. They couldn’t even use this to give Dan a lefty thrower.
It works like a miniature proton pack and it’s in the movie because the lab is creating new Ghostbusting equipment

Poor design, why wouldn't the tip eject out like the standard wand, missed opportunity. Just looks like if would melt your hand off when you fire it.
It must suck to do great prop work for such a horrible movie
I mean yeah. the props were good, but it was such a bad movie... sucks...
If Adam makes one of these, it could be cool if it could shoot something(like nerf darts or something like that) just saying.
