The power of.... Harajuku Core!! It’s so nice to see the new generations having fun making music. Another example, again with regard to Hanabie, would be L.C.G. (Lollipop Candy Girl) if you want. Ciao e grazie mille
I shared this with a friend and one of his friends commented on it with my favorite quote in relation to this band: “What is this, and why can’t I stop watching it?”
Amai My Mind! “Ha-Na-Bi-Eh” (はなびえ) are Yukina (Vo.), Matsuri (Gu., Vo.), Hettsu (Ba.), Sae (Dr.). Hanabie are also the most exciting, innovative band I have seen in a long time. Check out all their other videos, especially the Ado cover.
You may try this one for your next reaction to this band, in which the main point is clear as day, I would say (about current dating apps) - 花冷え。「令和マッチング世代」MusicVideo【Official】 It is wild, but that growl and that tiny voice under it is produced by the same person. There is another squad of female performers, which is closer to Babymetal with an additional twist: Broken By The Scream - KI・RA・I !! - Live in Tokyo Nemophila is on the roll with releases as they added two covers and an original song to their TH-cam library. BTW, Saki from Nemophila is a big Babymetal fan.
Was waiting for this one. Envy or LPG are great songs. Actually they all are damn good Incredible band!!! Love Yukinas vocals and am not normally a growler lover. Hanabie, Band-Maid, Nemophila and Lovebites are pretty much all I need in my musical world right now.
Really hope you revisit some Harajuku-Core! Great reaction!! Be sure to check out "Pardon Me I Have to Go to Now", "Tousou", "Be the Gal", and "Reiwa Dating Apps Generation"
Hanabie along with Nimophila are the best around right now The main singer Yukina that does the harsh vocals has amazing control they all sing Bass Hettsu and Matsuri guitar she does the writing go look at the YT to see the others on there there all grate and the album is superb .
Not many videos out there, but check the few there are. All are great! From what I know about this song, its as you said, about sweet tooth...and getting fat from it. Basically to not eat it. I guess that is why she crushes the cake...
From what I know of the lyrics, it's about struggling with addiction and needing that sugar rush to feel good and be able to concentrate, knowing it's bad but being unable to break it. That spoken word part with the strawberry heads, when she's acting kinda serious it's something like "my drug: sugar addiction, mind comeback, changing vision" then she coughs and starts listing the sweets in a cutesy way like she's changing the subject. Yukina's also the only one who doesn't eat the sweets, and at the end before she crushes the cake she says something like "in the end it's up to me". There's a lot going on, not just in the riffs!
No, Yukina doesn't sing cleans, she does growls and anime voice/rap on this song, I don't think I've ever heard her do cleans tbh. The cleans on this song were done by first the bassist (Hettsu) and then the guitarist (Matsuri).
There is an entire subculture of music in Japan called alternative idol which was started by the super success of Babymetal which does have harsh vocals. Most people's favorites in the West are either PassCode or Broken by the Scream. My personal favorite is PassCode and the best place to start with them is Taking You Out.
I suppose Tauri had the female idols in Babymetal in mind when she said it about harsh vocals. And as far as I know they do not do harsh vocals. It is different with those other two that you mentioned in your post. I suggested something by Broken by the Scream. :-)
@@Immortall1408 Babymetal doesn't do harsh vocals but a lot of the alt idol groups do and PassCode and Broken by the Scream are definitely the 2 most well known in the West.

I've taken tourists to their liveshow many times and everyone says it's amazing.
They're one and only teens band that survived audition in Japan EXPO.

Surely you caught, “…macaroon marshmallow chocolate cake!” 😄💪🏻🤘🏻

Japanese, female, grindcore, growls, kawaii...Hanabie might just be my perfect band!
A new Hanabie song called Neet Game just dropped today. Here's the music video link: th-cam.com/video/PLfZ54FUG5w/w-d-xo.html
My 2. favourite band. Everything they touch is gold. They literally don't have a single bad song. They're also incredibly good live.
Reiwa matching generation next

Reactors' expressions about eight seconds in when all hell breaks loose never fails to entertain. Harajukucore ftw!
amazing 🤘💕
Badass hahaha she crushes that cake like it's a brick hahaha super cool
They started in high school as a Maximum the Hormone cover band. Yeah, that band.
new Nemophila track coming (2nd week of Oct. i think), would love to see your reaction when it drops, thanks.
Great new reaction to them! Check out one of their live performances, Genkai Numa Life. It was posted pretty recent.
Music Japan are pure awesome!!! We Love Hanabie!! We Love Japan!!

Yukina does do backing vocals for Matsuri on some songs but you are correct that Yukina doesn't do lead cleans.
Best indeependent Band Ever. Kanpai 🍻
I love these girls so much lol
I hope you can react to Buck - Tick (male band) with a song Go Go B-T Train.
🔥🤘🍭🍬😜
Considering Baby Metal's breakout title was "Chocolate" I feel this title ("we love sweet") is really some kind of hommage :D
Try live by them Sentimental Heroin
