  • Testing out the new shotgun. It functioned a little worse than I thought it would but I am not worried yet. The coolest thing I have on video, so far, happened in this video. Let me know what you all think!

They say to run a box of 00b the first run.
I did that and then it will shoot light loads. They tell you this on the instructions.

I had to do this with my first one. Second one ran out of the box!

I fired a box of some cheap Remington target and dove loads without any problem on my first run out of the box. It's a great shotgun but it can be picky on the ammo it likes. Basically it likes high brass shells with enough punch to give it enough pressure to cycle.

Enjoyed your video bud, brought me back to a time when everyone was just trying to figure this TH-cam shit out, ( in a honest fun way) 👍

You should be using 1250 velocity or faster .

Ran 25rds of high brass #4, then 25rds of 00 buck. Had some misdeeds, but after 50rds of break-in, no issues with misfeeds or jams at all. I cleaned my shotgun when I first got it, then ran rounds through it dry. It's all good now. Break it in properly, and you'll enjoy it on the range.

You did follow the instructions on using high brass ammo for break in period right? If not this video is pointless.

I'm not sure about the bolt extension. Mine came that way. I appreciate you watching, it means a lot!

🤷‍♂️...You're using the wrong type of ammo for the break-in period

I wanted to see if it would cycle it. Part 2 shows me using hotter ammo. After the box of hotter ammo it cycled the slower stuff just fine.

according to black aces , you should run 25 rounds of hot /good ammo through the gun to break it in and marry the parts, just wondering if this is the first shots out of this gun.....

Honestly, I'd polish the chamber. Plenty shotguns do this if the chamber wasn't polished. Easy to overlook that detail in production. It's more common than you think. But as you said, break-in.
