The camp 10 has the weight in all the right place. The trail master, mtech, and Dundee Bowie all had big ol swedges, so any weight they did have got taken away from the tip and moved back closer towards the middle of the blade for better balance. Saw the camp 10 winning any chopping all day, though batoning might be different. Awesome tests man.

i would love to see a kukri chop-off, the kabar kukri machete, the ontario kukri machete, the cold steel royal kukri machete, and the condor kukri machete or heavy duty kukri. That would be pretty awesome.

I have the Kershaw and I find that it bites extremely well due to the mass and length. The belly makes it so much easier to recover from a deep bite compared to a flat edge knife and distributes the mass of the blade further forward where it needs to be for this kind of work.

Hands down best knife for the money and outperformed everything only issue is the grip wears down the hand . I got two chips in blade from bein careless and hit a rock or two but I’m already planning to get another

One more F. Y. I. the vintage TrailMadyer's of the early 90's had different ricaso's, and just don't make them like they use to. I just wish they made the tang's wider by the blade like the mew Kukuri Plus in O1, Now that's a beast. I teamed it with my SM III Master Hunter a lovely combo. But my O1 Kukuri defenetly would do good against those chopper's. Yeah, check it out .,,.

I've got the GSO 10, Camp 10, and a ESEE Junglas. I love the GSO but the Camp has such a good handle with a forward lanyard hole and so much forward blade power.

Yes it,t the blade geometry. It,s the same with swords it helps to have a desant edge,but the geometry is doing most of the job.
