As a small insignificant piece of trivia literally every kid in italy plays Soccer, i's almost the only sport around and 20-30 years ago (when Vento Aureo takes place) it was even more popular. Helping kids get a soccer ball that's stuck somewhere is something weirdly common and it usually brings back childhood memories to everyone, while the children simultaneously ask respectfully to the adult and almost bring him back to theyr own level. It's rather common that the adult will retrieve the ball and perform a trick or a pass or a shoot to briefly play with the kids. I dont know if in other parts of the world is the same, but that death to an Italian has a little extra layer or meaning and sadness...

Abbacchio’s death always gets a tear out of me idk why as I don’t cry often in media but something about Narancia screaming at Giorno to fix him sends me 😢
The scene with Abacchio and his partner is meant to gives major context as to why exactly the Boss is morally incorrect in the story. Like he said, shortcuts make you lose sight of the what is right, and that’s exactly what the Boss’s ability allows him to do. This deeply entwines into Part 5’s main theme of fate. This will become much more evident later, but Bruno and his gang are the heroes of this story because they do NOT take any shortcuts and therefore keep their noble ideals intact. You may have sensed this idea when they made the LOGICALLY stupid decision to betray the organization in order to save Trish, but it was ultimately the MORALLY correct one. What made them do that? The other main theme of Part 5: resolve. Bruno’s gang had the willpower to choose to save this girl even if it meant betraying the organization. Because even though it’s scary and dangerous, to do otherwise would be to compromise your own moral integrity. Fugo did not have enough resolve, so he stayed behind. Going the long way also means sacrifice, hence Abacchio’s death. The Boss cheats fate every single day and avoids any possible hardship by using his ability, so you can see where this is going lol.
If they sold like a frog phone case as like official merch, I'd legit buy it and regularly use it; just to genuinely see people's reaction to me pulling a whole-ass frog out of my pocket. Also, it would've been nice to see Risotto join the main gang, or even to see the whole hitman team join the gang-stars. Just Giorno and Bruno rounding up a band of these ruthless killers to their army to take down the boss; or like Bruno and Giorno finding ways to make a deal with them to back off for the time being, that Giorno pull-up with the power of friendship and anime on his side.
Risotto would never join Bucciarati. They made that clear. Why would he join the people that killed his entire team. That would be a complete insult to their memories
the anime skip this but in the manga, the first time they saw aerosmith (last episode) Risotto make a remark to jojo group saying ''They are getting closer, I will kill them all. I swear it''.
"If the result is all that matters to you, you start taking shortcuts. And when you take shortcuts, you start to lose sight of the truth." Guess who always takes shortcuts and only skips to the end result? That's why he'll never reach the truth.
The funny thing is Bucciarati did take the best course of action here. They check whos up on the hill, Abbachio completes the replay, and they safely leave in a span of 5-7 minutes. It would of worked against anyone except for the boss lol
That’s the thing I love about JoJo, they can make a character that only appears in the story for a little bit have an impact on you and the whole story.
For you guys confused about King Crimson's Stand ability, you're not alone. Think of it like this: *_"Time is a fluid force, not a playbar, so erasing time isn't so much like pressing skip on a remote as it is to selectively remove causality from an object. As just one example, King Crimson can throw a ball at a wall and erase the consequence of it impacting that wall without erasing its trajectory, causing it to phase through. He can then disable this ability to let it bounce around the room on the other side._* *_This is why King Crimson can walk around in his 'erased' time. He is literally removing any consequence within his window that he doesn't want to happen and keeping whatever he does. His powers are literally the word 'no' manifest._* *_As for the reason why he can predict what would normally happen within his 10 second time-window, that's why Diavollo needs Doppio. Doppio's Stand, Epitaph, can see the immediate future unaltered by King Crimson. This means that Diavollo can use Epitaph to see 10 seconds into the future and then, with King Crimson, change it to his will. He literally restricts reality according to the laws of his ego in 10 second intervals."_* Hope this helps!
I'm happy the secret user of King Crimson didn't come to the battle, except for the end tho. I am sure Metallica don't stand a chance against full Crimson, but this battle is the greatest battle i've seen
How TF did you manage not to cry to Abbacchio's death?!? The saddest moment in all of JoJo. BTW. Abbacchio's name is Leone and Giorno turned his body into Dandelions "Dente di Leone" which is dandelions in Italian. Also Abbacchio left a clue only Giorno could get, he finally trusted him. Also boss is the one looking for results with skipping time.
This death was actually very important because even if abbachio survived he wouldn’t really have a point anyway because the gang found out the face of the boss either way so they needed some sort of closure to abbachio because if he survived it would’ve just been dead weight
I read this somewhere. Abbacchio had major character development. He went from not trusting Giorno to see his Stand to leaving Giorno a clue that only he could find when he died.
Realistically there was nothing he could've done to prevent his death. If he ignored those kids it wouldn't have mattered. All I gotta say is king crimson.
Also, while the episodes only show moments when the characters are in combat, there is a lot of time they are just eating, talking and sleeping. They can't exactly be on edge, ready to counter attack at all times
A lot of people dont notice that there are a lot of flowers placed around his body after they walk away. its not much but in a way, its better than just leaving him, bare and alone. this death caught me off guard because of how sudden it was and how he died, alone.
