Thankyou for sharing your concern... But this pad is definately hygienic as it does not contains gel lock... So you can easily wash it by warm water and detergent and use it again...

Good. But it cannot be used for long time. It won't absorb inside and at the top it won't be dry. It will be like the cloth used in 80's

At first I thought you would use that pad inside😀lol. Anyway as I'm into reuse and recycle I think this is much better than store bought pads. it can last up to one year, depending on the fabric used.

Thank you so much for your question and admiring my channel. Ofcourse you can make these pads for your friend, they are very sustainable and can be used for long time as well. It is a great option but leakage is a problem in it. As it is a cloth, it allows liquid to go through all the layers.
Exactly, the commercial cloth pads have a leak proof layer of PUL which is absent in this.

I use saran wrap, cut same as the inner part. Cut and sew with the rest lasts thru many washings. I have also used parchment paper ( for baking) and freezer or butcher paper. All these last .
