the whole thing with women getting pregnant on these shows really bugs me so here its Janine's Body so its her choice with the dad getting no say but if she does decide to keep it then he also gets no say and would be judged by everyone for not wanting to raise a child. like Samson on Emmerdale who is currently being harassed by his own family for not wanting to raise a child who he had no say in it being born but the mother just decided without even letting him know that she was even pregnant.
It bugs you that a man doesn't get to dictate what happens to a woman's body? The act of having to grow a human being inside your body and being a parent are two distinctly different things. In some places, men can fully relinquish their parental rights if they don't want to be involved, but no matter what their feelings about being a parent are, they don't get to decide what happens to a woman's body. Also, let's not forget that women are most certainly judged for having abortions - many are much more harshly judged than men who don't raise their kids.
