    I live in the UK we take water for granted. I have an allotment with access to clean tap water from the mains. Yet I save rainwater off the shed roofs and I dug a well as the water tablet is low were my allotment is. I filter the well water with a pond filter I made. I save some of the rainwater for my chickens which I also filter with a ceramic filter. I like your video on the sand rock/charcoal filter you made looks cool I may make one, one day.

    WoW! I just looked at 1 property and the vendor planted trees in the middle of the land and fenced it and the land is wet but on a highest hill and I wonder but so happy because I thought i can plan my herbs and don't need much water to feed the plants and my favorite fruit trees too. this video made it clear about the water table. Yesssssssss!

    Hi , i have a shower here in London, i think of tis shower water, a lot. It is lighter water at first time in the morning , so i want in any place i am to think how this can be cleaned and be back to me not all but some so the overflow is manageable and what a down of me needs. I saw that filters are very expensive , i then thought what is in me and thought if i am water well the skin does not have an issue wit a need for cleaning off excess in foods therefore smells. i am not here in practical sense and i will explore and investigate and think more about how i clean a shower water. I see this in a city a important need. but when or if i arrive in a rural area i want to be able to manage my needs better, so i am thinking of filtering the water better but with a mineralled addition , i will look at the water in the container and say what lives and what looks at it , does anything look at this water, ? does reeds grow and will a evaporation to a sheet of metal above to gather a cloud allow me to shield from a whiskey which only has , inside out sugar and mineraled light water to feel very good. For me this is not a deal, i make alcohol in my body and when i release this i have far better control than a bought shelf whiskey. fact so i am alert after a laugh not sick. I know water is the most imp
    ortant part of me but i cant remove the old to new quickly , tat will be like the children form the schools exploring the caves and losing their rope memmory and so ia m the same i need to move slowly and ensure i can find me and show like a person a new way not return to old poor way. well.

    How does the clay reserve the water?

    • @magicnier211
      @magicnier211 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Clay does not allow water to seep through.. water thus accumulate on top of it

    • @denisewilson8367
      @denisewilson8367 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Compacted clay will turn hard on the outer surface but stay wet and "seal: together to make a water tight surface.
      If you can, dig your pond (s) then turn your pigs into that area and they will compact the soil very tight. Then move them out after a short (week or 2) stay, and let it fill with water.

    In Australia if you collect the water on the farm you will trouble if council knows. If you build a dam and they see it they will dig it out and CHARGE you. Even though our constitution says we have the right to reasonable use.

    • @denisewilson8367
      @denisewilson8367 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would build swales then and plant fruit trees. Small nut trees, and berry bushes, and perennial veggies on the swales. This way you are "keeping the plants feet (roots) dry". LOL They cannot say you are collecting water bcuz you aren't.
