To me this is the best solo from Eddie. Its simple, not a lot of technique but it fills all the gaps during it. Every bar on the solo really represent the entire song with the feel of victory and hope. Simply my favorite.
Man absolutely smashed it , then tore up the solo, amazing playing and tone. Could you tell me are you playing out of an amp? if so what amp? also what are the settings from your boss me50? Thanks mate.
Thanks! I use my Boss into a Palmer Pdi-09 speaker sim, into my audio interface. On the Boss I use compression, the ‘lead’ overdrive, stereo chorus 1 (although my signal is mono, but I think it sounds big without being too chorusy) and some delay which I tap in the tempo for.
Hey dude, I saw your Def Leppard tone explanation and heard you talk about how they would set up the presence on the Randalls, but do you also know how they did the EQ? I found a blurry picture of the rack unit in which I could make out the volume and gain level's but not Bass Mid Treble
No idea, I’d suggest just doing it to taste. The presence thing was a quote from Phil regarding how they would max out the presence, and I assume increase volume too, for solo sections.

Play some Dimebag 👀
Somewhere in the great beyond, Eddie is enjoying this…and Steve Clark is razzing him over the fact you wore a DL shirt to do it in. 😂
You are gay. Why are you gay? Who says I am gay? You are gay.
That first chord! Chilling. This is from one of my favourite albums.

If there was ever a song that perfectly encompassed EVH's incredible musicianship, it's Right Now. Excellent cover, as always!
Keep making these epic covers man. I often enjoy them more than the original track for the way it emphasizes the guitar!
You did the guitar solo so well that it seems so easy to do. Very nice the final part with Tapped harmonics
Eddie is smiling Right Now from the heavens GREAT song and GREAT cover I love how you manage to show every little known parts
I learned the intro piano riff on guitar and that was painful enough, you make the rest look effortless - nice job on the tap harmonics.
The king himself would be proud of this cover.
Cheers
Beautifully done👌🏼
I have been waiting for this one. My favourite Van Halen song, and then You deliver it on my birthday. Thanks🙏 awesome playing!
Happy Birthday!
@@bwm5150, thanks😊
Nice work, my friend! 🎸
Loved the ending, awesome playing 👍
Always love your Halen covers. Eddie was a master guitarist and you're doing justice to his work.
That's how you get it done!! Great 👌
Beautiful cover
Never fails to amaze me:) top playing and goes without saying.. smashing tshirt 😊
That solo is 🔥🔥🔥...that first bit of tap action took me to Can't Stop Loving You 🤔🍻
Awesome.
Awesome job Mr. Ben as always! You make it look so easy. My favorite track from that album was Runaround but this track was a close second. Great job!
Great job Ben!
I've been thinking you should do a cover for this song. never had a chance for requesting it and here it is
Best guitarist on TH-cam
Ah Tony, very kind, thank you!
@@bwm5150 AOR forever 🤘I also try to play all the same things as you, albeit I usually fall short with the solos. Dont have the chops!
Superb mate 👍👍
Awesome use of the pinch harmonics.

@@bwm5150 Thanks so much for replying is your speaker Sim emulating anything in particular, like a particular sound or type of an amp? Cheers
Nothing in particular. It’s quite an old piece of kit so has 3 EQ options simulating a 57 mic on a cab.
Deixando um like right now
Outstanding Ben .God bless you
Que bueno que sigas activo , tu sonido y guitarra es único .
Nice
Terrific job Ben!!
Hit like a freight train my friend. Well done

Sweet cover like always dude!! #eddieriffs
Came here because of Slank, I like Van Halen too. Btw, can you cover Slank's song Hey Bung? or Jinna?
Qual modelo dessa guitarra Jackson alguém sabe?
I list my equipment in the video descriptions. It a DK2 Dinky.
Asesome! Can you do Eruption?
I can do the tapping part but not the rest 😅
I think you got the chops to go for "Humans Being". Lots of interesting stuff going on in that tune.
Certainly would like to expand on my Van Hagar covers 😁
@@bwm5150 I look forward to it, but it's gonna be a lot of work. Weird counts, tons of FX and overdubs. Even some rare neck pickup solo parts.
can you do a cover of forever young leppardized cover by alphaville
Certainly a possibility.
head. blown. I could barely tell the difference if EVH had played it himself
jordin ziff my name is todd
neat, but the character of the sound guitar effect like Eddie is not visible
