To whoever is editing these, we need to know what sales the business has done. Can't jump from a crazy valuation straight to them making offers without that.
I watched the full pitch when it aired. They did over $18 million in sales in 12 months or something along those lines, I don't fully remember

Does anyone else think the “5 minute” pitches is wayy too short?
That's usually how pitches are. Short and detailed of the product. But in the actual show, the discussion can be going over an hour so they have to hard cut edit.
@@plasmahandoku1073 not really. The actual edited pitches come out to around 10 minutes. This one is an extra edited version for their TH-cam channel. Shark tank global posts the full pitches on TH-cam.

Right, felt like a promotional ad and they used the shark tank to make it seem like a valuable product.
Mark Cuban doesn't even eat meat and he went for this deal. Awesome. That says a lot.
Cuban $1M for 5% or Barbara $1M for 30% is a tough decision.

This deal excluded, everybody is talking about Mark being the biggest Shark yada yada. There is a flip side to that coin, when you're worth what Mark is worth he's most likely to pull the plug faster. Barbara's 500K and Marks 500K are not equal. If a business starts to see turbulent times, Barbara is more likely to fight to get that investment back whereas Mark will say "eh" and on to the next. I've seen it a million times in my space, having the rich uncle as an investor isn't always the best scenario. So, like anything else there is a downside to everything.
after watching so many episodes i just figured why marc is the best shark (with lori IMO) and how is able to persuade people to choose him !

The point is not what the two troglodytes above me state. If shark tank is on our feed and we enjoy the show, we are going to click. But the point is that we expect to watch a pitch with enough context and 5 minutes even though we expect more, it just isn't enough and if they want to get more views they should at least double the length so we get the full experience.

Mark was the right choice, he has the national brand and he's right it's not quite the same as the other sharks.

Mark is more valuable... It's not a fair shark tank. It's a like having a shark 5x bigger than the others.

I have tremendous respect and appreciation for Mark, but I do think he is a bit of a bully. He has deeper pockets than 3 of the other sharks and therefore he is able to play with a lot of deals to his favor but I do think that he tends to spoil the deals and muscle the other sharks out. He can afford to lose a percentage here and there but that percentage could be worth more to the other sharks.
It would be a fairer playing field if they were all of similar financial profile.
