I love what you guy are doing with the ui! It's very clean and I can't wait to see what comes next! An idea I had was a 'favourites' tab for blocks we use often? Maybe a middle click on block icons to favourite them and save them the new tab. The feature would allow people to organise along with their plans but it could also limit people's willingness to play with new blocks. Though with the pop-down tabs I see why it might not be a priority, but I think it would be a great addition to the new system😊
You should add it where when you fall from a specific height the suspension will break but not fall off. So the suspension acts like it does in real life when they break from a fall

I do not like the new UI. As an aesthetic builder, I find it very hard to build good builds because there are not enough wedges and rounded blocks to make that smooth and polished look.
What if you cold press a button like ctrl and than be able to type the block name while building in an interface like the newer version of autocad or something. Also, just being able to search through your blueprints would be nice. I feel like the blueprints section could have more features, like being able to customize your folder icons, have some dynamic folders that sort builds by the amount of power cores or something like that could be cool too. I don't know if it would make sense for the purpose you guys have, but if you could have different sets of transformations saved somehow, it could make it very interesting. Like, you build a plane and it has four transformations, one for speed, another one for underwater etc. It could be very interesting for multiplayer and stuff. You could do it now, but setting up your transformations everytime could be a pain.
Yo you guys need to chill. This new design doesn't look bad and their justification for changing it I think is valid. People can't be mad at change just for the sake of "I'm used to it how it is" this game is too amazing to stop playing cause some UI change. Thank you Flashbulb for always cooking!

Can we please get a legacy builder option because alot of people got used to the old alot and it just sucks to get used to a new UI and it will be nice if you read this.
they said bo becouse that way they dont belleive in this update 100 and if the make a legacy mode it shows the the update isent good. and as much i playd the game i agree with their perspective

@@Lafe42_main they do care about the community, but if they kept the old one then it would be problematic as they would have to update both GUI's and the old GUI vs the new GUI, I'm sorry but the new one makes the old one show its age, and with more updates to come imagine scrolling through the entire menu just to find the new blocks in the old GUI, after a while it'll take longer to reach those blocks bc you are on a 1 row scroll menu as for the new one has 3 rows meaning it'll be 3 time faster to get to the new blocks In other words, they made a new GUI for a better and more efficient way of searching for all of the blocks, both old and new ones too, so you can keep enjoying more new blocks while cutting to time and effort to scroll to said blocks and having more space in the GUI to do so
I am REALLY hoping you change your mind and make it a toggle This ui doesn’t look good Ruins the current flow of the game And just makes me feel like the community isn’t listened to
They said that they didn't want to make every new feature have a legacy toggle because it implies they aren't 100% certain about them. The ui is still subject to change but you'll just have to get used to it.
1 suggestion for the 2.0 update: Increase the range for distance sensors to at least 100 meters.
