- Here's an F1 onboard hotlap at the Autodromo de Buenos Aires Juan y Oscar Galvez in Argentina. Today we go around the track No.15 layout with Sergio Perez in his F1 2020 Racing Point RP3 in Assetto Corsa.
This layout of the circuit hosted the Formula 1 Argentine Grand Prix between 1974-1981, and the last race to have been hosted in Argentina was in 1998. The circuit has a variety of different layouts that were used over the years, but I personally feel that this was the best layout of all of them, and it's a shame we haven't seen a race in Argentina since 1998.

El 15 es hermoso, pero es muy loco ver que desde que sale de la horquilla hasta que llega a Ascari, está a fondo. La S del ciervo la pasa como si nada. En 1981 la pole fue 1:42 y ahora le saca 1:26.

Please, make one at the Termas de Río Hondo circuit, or Potrero de los Funes. Maybe the San Juan Villicum circuit too, all in Argentina 😉

I can't find Termas de Rio Hondo unfortunately, been looking for that one for a while and the only one I can find seems to have been deleted unfortunately. Same thing with Potrero de los Funes, uploaded by the same person but they were taken down, sorry about that!
However, I do have a mod of El Villicum, which I will be releasing a video for in the next week!

I agree that this 15 layout is the best of all. Please, if I can I would like to see some more circuits here in South America: Curitiba, Taruma, Brasília and Autodromo de Cristais in Minas Gerais (Brazil), El Villicum and Potrero de Los Funes (Argentina), Codegua (Chile) , Rivera (Uruguay) and Yahuarcocha (Ecuador). Congratulations on the wonderful work in all these videos!
In Venezuela too, we have the Turagua Circuit AKA Pancho Pepe Croquer Circuit.

I just found your channel, amazing job! This video reminds me A LOT of trying to race the GP 79 mod in rFactor, a not so long time ago. At the Ascari chicane (your first braking point) I was like "well, there comes Ascari and you have to brake brake BRAKE WHEN YOU'RE GONNA BRAKE DAMN!!!! That was good".

The flatout sections is exactly twice as long as La Source - Les Combes at Spa, 48 seconds long. Almost the same as the chicaneless Mulsanne Straight. :O
At least i hope to bring back F1 to Argentina. Buenos Aires will be good but anywhere at least will be something epic
Would you consider driving these old track in cars that actually raced on them. With these high downforce cars these layouts are way to easy, but it was probably much more challenging in the 1950s/60s/70s...

el 9 en el 1971(sin puntos) y 1972, despues el 15 hasta 1981 y por 1997/98, el 8 sin el tobogan.

I kind of love this configuration - but I shudder to think what would happen if a tire blew going around turn 3 at 330kph. And considering there's a road and another lake on the outside of that corner, there's no way you could have enough run off area. Maybe if they filled in the lake..
@adam place Turismo Carretera and other series compite on this track. So many tyres blew up near of the lake and just a few times we saw a car on the water. (They come at 280kph in this sector with touring cars)

Hi!! This model of Buenos Aires circuit isn’t good, the real circuit is so different. Specially turn 1 and 2 (curva del ciervo) 3 and 4 (saloto) and last turn (orquilla)

The sheer length of those two back straights around the lake make this quite boring, but if it was modernised there’s a lot of potential to make this a brilliant track for modern day F1

es obvio que si vas a traer la F1 al pais hay que hacer un circuito nuevo y si no se puede remodelar el galvez pero hacerlo bien no una lavada de cara
