it would depend on the shield and the lore behind it as we know he swapped his first shield for a mirror shield and a shield in a fantasy world can be imbued with magic thus it may be able to retain its Integrity via some form of magic
It was Egbert's armor that Dob heated in Peak Performance. It caused damage to Egbert, which Dob then immediately healed. This was the only time it was heated, and if I remember correctly, RAW this should have taken at least 1 point from both the armor's and shield's ACs.
It's kinda weird how the comments aren't transferred along with the videos when you move them between channels or if it's just because the original video has been taken down and re-uploaded here. Anyway; props to the person(s) who decorated the mic booms with vines to match the table decorations. Those little things like that make the whole thing that much better.
According to someone from another video here, previews and livestreams are slightly different to a regular video, so it can't be moved in whole to a new channel. So basically, when possible they're the OG vids, but the rest will be re-uploads, which double sucks because the original date and all that is gone, but so is chat from everyone who tuned in live/for the preview.
I'd forgotten that none of the comments transferred over, so I'll go ahead and try to repeat my reply to this comment from the first time: I'd love it if all the adventures got their own sets. Prudence could have an eldritch theme, with tentacles and slime everywhere. Corazon could have a tasteless set with a bunch of gold and wood inlays, Egbert could have pews instead of chairs and stained-glass windows, and Dob could have them all just sitting in ash and garbage.
"Can you believe there is no Engineering skill in D&D 5e" technically there is a whole engineering class called the Artificer, Johnny... However No I cannot believe that D&D 5e does not have an engineering skill...it has basically every crafting skill/proffession including jewelry crafting, and alchemy but no engineering skill or profession...
I listened several times trying to figure this out, and eventually managed to catch that the last 3 words of what he said were "...his baggy clothes." Hopefully someone can help fill in the rest!
Is this a British people thing, or have I spent the past 30 years mispronouncing Avril Lavigne's name? I was always convinced it was pronounced like 'ravine'. Is it really pronounced in a way that'd rhyme with 'align'?
ok i love oxventure but does anyone else think that the party needs to stop steamrolling poor ellen. maybe its just cause i play druid quite often and my response is usually closer to "burn one single twig and i will feed you to hungry wolves"
I swear, Johnny isn't gonna kill them with a bbeg he's gonna kill them with unnecessary animal handling rolls by Egbert. I call it unnecessary because a summoned steed isn't an animal, and is telepathically linked to its summoner.
Well they have to roll something, since the summoned steed can't just do everything perfectly (even spells and weapons have to be rolled for), so animal handling is as good as anything (:
