Well, not too long after commenting here about how much I love this video and how much I love my own Del Sol that's been my one and only car since 1995 - the Del Sol was stolen. Right out of my garage while I was sleeping. Needless to say, I was crushed. Almost thirty years with that car, and only 158,000 on it, it still ran like a new car. I just visited my folks in AZ recently and you would swear it had 10,000 miles on it. Gone. I took it hard. Cut to 5 weeks later - the cops recovered my Del Sol! It was about a hour away and rather than be chopped up for parts, it was still intact. The thief has been driving it this whole time. So my mechanic is doing a once-over and I should get it back Monday. The Del Sol lives!! Here's to 30 more years!
This video is so damn fun I can't deal. Congrats on all your hard work on this great car. I've been driving my Del Sol since I bought it in 1995 at Santa Monica Honda and I'm a one car household. I haven't made a car payment since the year 2000 and this car has been a champ. Almost nothing in repairs over the years, just regular maintenance. Enjoy that ride and thanks for the great video.

It was my first car as a 17 year old. Car had brakes that barely worked and was garbage on gravel but yes definitely had some work to do on my driving
