This is gonna hurt, but those are not heated grips. The button is there because it is the same unit used on the Pan America and you can wire new grips into it. It is possible that they replaced the grips since 2021 but they look identical to mine.

yeah, they are wired but not installed from stock. You will need to get installed and get the bike programmed for it as well.
I just put a deposit on a 23 vivid black sportster s.

@@gagbum Good man. Mine is also the 2021 black. To the post. I have seen this too many times, that the bike has heated handgrips in Vlogs. It is obvious that people will be pissed and feel deceived because of the button designed for the Pan America. It is not worth the heat (pardon the pun) to not include them.
(specifically to the writer) I really suggest getting the stock windshield and Ebay risers before paying out on the seat. It changes the ergonomics. I got the Corbin seat first and it did not change the ergonomics (it did make me feel tucked in though... great seat).

Surprisingly mine does come with heated grips, but I do have to go and get that software update so it’s enabled which is strange. I was worried for a sec there after noticing quite a few people saying the same thing.

@@TruRalphie wish it did come with the heated grips though. If I get my loan paperwork in the mail. I am going to pick it up. It is 39 degrees f currently

I just have to ask. If you had to would you consider a 1200 mile ride if you upgraded the seat and has a small windscreen? Thank you . Nice rig you ride.❤

You actually don't even need your key fob, if you set up the pin you can ride without anything just that pin number in your noggin'
