Excellente video John - a tremendous insight into a bunch of groovy groops that had mystifyingly flown outside my radar! Wow - what a channel you have here; I am eager to work my way through your scintllations and machinations avec much glee! =:^)
Some excellent needle drops John..fun, catchy tunes that have high energy and don't outstay their welcome. I really like The Flamin' Groovies and need to get more of their catalogue as i only have Supersnazz from 1969, which is fabulous. All the best Rob.
Hi John, looking snazzy in your Dracula shirt - love it. Particularly liked the Wylde Tryfles needle drop - great name too. It always surprises me how many garage rock bands there are out there currently outside of the US and UK. Like the Flamin' Groovies, but only gave a twofer compilation of Flamingo and Teenage Head - need to get more. All the best...Pete
That was so awesome stuff John. Human of the Chesterfield Kings and Flaming Groovies. Awesome samples. I don’t have either of those two albums you showed by them
Superb selection of grungey blasts, John! I do love the Flamin Groovies, but I kinda prefer Roy A Loney when he took a solo path and fronted the Phantom Movers. Two excellent LPs and a 12-inch EP on the Solid Smoke label which are stone classics, and the rare "Artistic As Hell" EP. The latter can be heard on TH-cam I believe...
Hi John. The Shadracks are interesting. The singer sounds a bit like his Dad, although he's not as prolific. I've had that Chesterfield Kings album for many years. They sounded so authentically 60s.

Good one John. I have two of these albums, but the other two (Shadracks, Wylde Tryfles) sounded equally as good. Thanks, Chris
Listened to this on my work van yesterday through the speakers those tracks sounded amazing blasting through the Buckinghamshire countryside.

Garage is a rabbit hole that I have dove into.
@@vinylrichie007 Good for you! Sometimes it's all I need.
Always preferred the mid 60s Punk to its decade late 70s variant. Although some of the more obscure efforts compare
I prefer the Kissing Bandits version of Shake some action. More singles please at the moment I am into junkyard glam.
Never heard it. Hard to imagine someone besting the Flamin' Groovies, but it is such a great song that I am going to try and give it a listen.
