- Finished up the ‘70 Impala we were rusting for the rust bucket group build hosted by Marcelo over @marsgarage8217 Thanks a bunch Mars. Was a ton of fun. I do have more to do to this project but the car itself is finished. Shoutout to @Bruces-Eclectic-World too for an idea I did not utilize. 😂 you can email me at

Looks awesome, Kyle! I love the parts. I love the parts in the back seat👍 Looking forward to the diorama. Thanks for sharing.
@@ericsmodelgarage thanks Eric! My first attempt at something like this and it has been a really fun time. I know if it were my abandoned vehicle there would definitely be some parts thrown in the interior. Really appreciate you stopping by to watch.
Very cool project! You nailed the rust-bucket abandoned car look. I had to borrow the spindle from an abandoned car in the past, so for me the missing spindle is a reality. 😂
@@DonzTattoozGarage thank you Don!! I wanted to make it look like it had been left there for some time. But sometimes those abandoned parts come in handy!! lol. Appreciate you breezing through.
Rusty work there brother Kyle!
@@MODELMIND72 yes sir!! Rust bucket goal achieved!! Thanks for stopping by.
A hole in the trunk lid would look cool, especially if you had a screwdriver sticking in it. That looks Cool.👍👍
@@HotrodzModelShop465 thank you!! Screwdriver is a good idea too!! Think I have some hand tools floating around in one of these drawers. Thanks for taking the time to check it out!
Really nice work on the Impala, very authentic looking!
@@JethrosGarage-op4bo thank you kindly Jethro. I really appreciate that.
Turned out pretty well a lot going on with this build well done Kyle 👏
@@seamybmw thanks Seamus! It’s been a big change of pace but enjoyable for sure.

@@diecast_MikeEspo Mike!! Thank you so much for the subscription!! I have just subbed you as well. And thank you for the very kind words. This was a fun build.
Very cool👍 you guys are doing some awsome work..thanks for joining the gb..
@@marsgarage8217 thanks Mara! For the kind words and for hosting. I’ve really enjoyed seeing everyone’s builds this year. Appreciate you dropping in.
Well done, perfect rust effects!
@@philRminiatures thank you so very much Phil! I certainly had a great time with it. Appreciate you watching!!
Nice work Kyle...look forward to seeing it with the base.
@@cardzscaledreams3917 thanks Pat!! Been a blast. The base should be another interesting learning experience.
Looks great my friend! Can't wait to see it with the base when your done.
@@DracoMeadors thank you Draco! Much appreciated. I’ll be working on it!
Critters always accumulate junk on the intake and floorboards. I agree on the trunk lock. Looks just like something in our local wrecking yard. If you have a tire and non hubcap wheel, that'd be perfect for it to lay on up front. Super build, the weathering is superb! I'd love to try this build again next year!
@@BigSkyModelWorkshop thank you Joe!! And I agree. I think I’ll be putting a plain steel wheel under one side and a cinder block on the other. Just how they do it at the local you pull. lol!! Been a lot of fun. Thanks for watching !!
@@kyledehartsscaleworks I'm all inspired to go to the wrecking yard and get some pictures and inspiration.
@@BigSkyModelWorkshop oh yeah! That’s a great idea!!
Looks awesome Kyle. Rusty's get habit forming.😂 Once you start it's total chaos...🤣😁
LLAP 🖖
@@BrucesWorldofStuff you’re not kidding Mars!! This has been a blast! Thanks for watching
Kyle it looks amazing brother ❤😊
@@thescalemodelcarguychannel8681 thank you so much Shawn!!
Jeesh Kyle, that thing is awesome! This years rust bucket group build has seen some really neat builds and yours is one of them. Looks great!
@@LarrysModelShop thanks a bunch Larry!! And you’re not kidding. I’ve seen so many super fun builds this year. Appreciate you watching, my friend.
Kyle!!! That thing looks amazing!! Call Derek from Vice Grip Garage! I bet he can get it running and drive it home😂😂😂.
@@modelbuildingcorner 🤣😂 we just need a lightning whirler and lightning hoses, a fuel make it happener and a batt’ry and we’ll be in business.
@kyledehartsscaleworks you got it buddy! Great stuff!!
It looks great, brother!! It'll look fantastic in that garage diorama too ✌️😁
@@SmallADVentures1973 thank you very much!! I should really start on the service station at some point. Appreciate you swinging in
Awesome work Kyle! One of these days I have to try the form seat, that looks so cool! I'm looking forward to seeing your diorama completed. 😎👍
@@theintake8961 thank you!! the seat was real easy if you want to give it a try. For the missing chunk I just dremeled a piece out. Then for the texture and damage it was just tissue paper soaked in diluted white glue and maneuvered into the look I wanted. Thank you very much for watching!!
hi Kyle.... bvery nice job on this GB... looks very real... you should have your package today... thx 4 sharing.. vinny
@@dacuzzz6951 thanks Vinny! Appreciate you checking it out. Was very enjoyable. And thank you for the incoming package as well!! Very much appreciated.

@@TheDiecastDad thank you!! Appreciate it so much!!
Turned out awesome Kyle... I have some 3D block I can send ya.. That is a cool idea too.
I'm going to do the same with mine. Cory has a video and is going to help (advise)me on making a i/2 a barn for my Mach1 diorama. So the Mach1 and the Firebird will be in the same field... Lol
LLAP 🖖
@@Bruces-Eclectic-World Bruce!! Thank you. If you have some extra 3D block you could send my way I would sure be grateful!! I love your idea for the field and the barn with both having been found together. Good stuff
