I’ve had the great pleasure to be in Brussels seven times now. I’m absolutely enamored with the city and a friend and I have plans to buy a retirement home there together. It was so much fun watching your video and being able to predict where you were by the path you were walking and the beginning of your description. (I nailed Galleries St Hubert, Galleries du Nord, and many of the statues.). I just found your channel today and have a feeling I’m going to be up all night binge watching. I'm really enjoying your vlogs. I'm glad you are letting yourselves to enjoy life now instead of waiting. In 2020 I had a heart attack and stroke. What I learned was life is short and tomorrow is not guaranteed. The other thing I learned is in problems and situations. Do they really matter? Will they add to your life or should you just let them roll off. Thank you so much You two bring a smile to my face and put a joy in my heart.

@RockyandKimball i am so impressed thay you read and respond to the comments. I am doing wrll since 2020, the year i spent in the hospital. I now have a pacemaker that keeps me beating as fast as it should and i use a walker because my balane was effecred from the stroke. My short term memory is bad but my older sister says thats from mom. Thank you agsin for your content and making us smile.

6:24 Not sure if they would have let me serve the beer like that, but then again it is in Belgium not all the countries have the same traditions. Not familiar with that beer, seems carbonated like in a soda different than a standard beer. And the glass also doesn't look like a dutch beer glass. Traditionally beers like that where more viewed as feminine beers, a fruity beer 😉 I don't like beer, everyone says you have to learn to like and drink it. For me I rather have other drinks I don't need to learn to drink and like.😋 What a lot of foam, in the NL you tilt the glas into a about 45 degree angle and pore it in, tilting the glass back vertically when almost full, and you end up with a foam layer of 2 fingers thick.
Lmao I literally never drink so I’m very clueless. I should have known to tilt the glass but it was fine. Made us laugh a bunch. I usually only drink if a party I’m with is going to the pub to socialize and even then I just get a little half pint. 🍺 I begged my father to let me have a taste of his beer when I was like 5 years old. It tasted like piss and I haven’t liked it since. lol.
@@RockyandKimball In the Netherlands there is beer culture so to speak. One needs to learn to drink (like) beer, almost no one likes beer right away. Once you acquired the taste your fine. That is what I have been told all my life (non-LDS) European people. So me growing up LDS with the word of wisdom - Once I was non-LDS; why learn to acquire a taste if other drinks (with alcohol also) taste better and you don't need to learn to like the taste. I am more of a fruity sweet white wine or rose. Or an appletini, or other cocktails, etc. But I also don't drink often (anymore), special occasions or with a non-frequent get-to-gether. If I am "pissed" I will be able to drink beer, guess that is fitting with it tasting as such. But still not my favorite.
When we used to have C&A here in the UK, we used to say that it stood for Coats & 'Ats! There also used to be a smutty joke doing the rounds about them putting C&A in women's underwear so they knew which way round to put them on. Think about it...! 😆

i have only seen cone incense at a small store in ATL, i did bought some but i used them up, i was thinking it was more of a specialty item but surely not, it has to be available around but i want to go back to that store and buy more however IF the store still exists

@@RockyandKimball i think the cone incense might be easier to clean-up, the holder for the cone i had kept the ashes together as i walked over to dispose of it while the sticks were just a slab where the ashes fall and it usually blows off as i dispose of it well that is my reasoning but i might be wrong
