If you could use a painted pencil instead of a natural wood pencil I think your cuts would show up better. For me they are a little hard to see. Otherwise, it is a great tutorial.
Can you do the sanding on the smooth parts like the cheeks, forhead and nose before you carve in the fine lines like the hair ? Love your work.....Be well and be safe🦜
