The Argy's are a must in Ark they help carry your stone & metal gatherers as well as having amazing weight\Stamina. Ark:
Ark: Survival Evolved is an action-adventure survival game set in an open world environment with a dynamic day-night cycle and played either from a third-person or first-person perspective. To survive, players must establish a base, with a fire and weapons; additional activities, such as taming and feeding dinosaurs, require more resources.
The game is played from either a third-person or first-person perspective and its open world is navigated on foot or by riding a prehistoric animal. Players can use firearms and improvised weapons to defend against hostile humans and creatures, with the ability to build bases as defense on the ground and on some creatures. I didn't trap it and i only used crossbow with tranq arrow to tame the argentavis and i use a raw meat and a prime meat to tame it faster. Hehehe sorry i only do the easy difficulty but i did it thank you

fr all the other traps rquire to many materials
I spent the last 2 hours looking for a high level argy and only found an ok kinda low level 170 then taming it getting prime meat i find a 200, 240, 210, and a 180 like wtf where were those like 2 hours ago i checked there like 10 times imma just tame them another time

I was in the middle of watching this when one flew into my stone fort and accidentally trapped itself and got jumped by 5 of my Paraurs. Saved me about 20 minutes of building gates lmao

interesting method. I was gonna make a 3x3 stone trap base and lure an argy into it. But 4 stone gates might be quicker. Ill have to try it. Hey if i use reg raw meat, like you did in the vid, is there any chance the argy will wake up before its tamed? Lastly, ideally should i just stand next to the argy and wait for it to be tamed? I probly should say i have ghillie armor and crossbow/tranq arrows
Stick narcoberries or narcotics in it's inventory and make the bird consume them if needed (as long as they are in the bird, the bird will consume them, not you). No need to stand by the bird whilst taming, if it's in the trap it'll be safe from most predators for the most part. just don't forget where it's at!

@@laplandz the trap worked, super easy to. I got greedy tho, had 2 extra argy's tranqed outside of the trap, a pack of hyenas showed up and ate them :(
You can also use bio toxins by killing jellyfish they give the Animal 80- Torpor which will save you time so it doesn’t wake up

my uncle made his own trap so Basically you need 3 stone walls and a stone Foundation build the 3 walls and foundation then look at where the argy is and on the right or left (mostly right) build a double door then shoot it and when it starts to come and its hitting the wall open the double doors it will make it become stuck Good luck!😊

Another easy trick i learned from a yt video, get a starters flyer aka pteranodon, buit a trap gate using 4 stone dino gateways like this video except put 2 stack of pillars at the end of the trap where you come out flying with the pteranodon and park the pteranodon right infront of the argi when it's inside the cage and not able to move further because of the pillar, the argi is most likely to be aiming to attack the pteranodon and take the advantage to close the gate behind it and BOOM. But make sure to test the trap first, i failed multiple times and lost a level 120 but tamed a level 76 in 20 minutes. This trick works, trust me.
The door seems way easier....

I use this method to try to tame a griffin but I didn’t see the part about placing the gate after and me and my bird got stuck inside the gates to get mauled and me and my friend had to chase him around for two hours but we never got him lmao

You can use normal stone gateways and reinforced stone gates just as well and you only need 2 of each. This guys trap is just extra lmao
Yeah I always go over the top to make sure I have enough room but you can do it with only 2 gates

You are welcome :) It is part of the mod Structures plus, the gun unlocks at level 0 and allows you to pick up all items

It does but it’s extremely risky because the argy has to be perfectly aligned

I shot some with tranq arrows and they got knocked out and both times a T-Rex came and ate them
Oh no! This is terrible luck.. I would suggest maybe once knocking it out leading away evil creatures

I find this game difficult, I play on PS4 I don't do the online stuff but on survival I get killed then spend most my time trying to get my stuff.

i’m such an idiot i watched this and thought i had remembered you saying it needed to be a bohemian structure and so i slaved away hours to make them then rewatched the video after building it and realised i could’ve just done stone gates😭😭😭

I would say that you would need a flyer to help lure it into the trap. I recon you could tame one at level 38 when you get pteradon but you won't be able to ride the Argy until you are level 61

I have died twice trying to get a level 130 argy. Both times I have died to the same level 145 Rex and a 120 saber. I spent so long looking for an argy and obviously it’s trying to fight a pack of sabers and a Rex. Any tips
Possibly shoot it with a tranq arrow and guide it while trying to lead it away from all the danger or dump your inventory in a box and attempt to lead the Rex or sabres away.
I tried that before it died but it was focused on fighting the Rex. So I tried to help fight them and the Rex died but a saber snuck up behind me. And my aim was shit. I took about 10 shots with a longneck and all missed. I just need to hit my shots
It's a pain when they are distracted, best thing to do is to try and lure away the rex and sabertooth and then shoot the argy to follow you into the trap
@@fred3733 what i tried (yesterday) was to get the Rex to chase me even if the argy was fighting it by getting as close as possible and then when he does the roar animation start running toward other dinos (herbivores) that way the Rex will start to agro on them but for the Saber I’m not too sure as I haven’t encountered one yet so I’m not sure on how dangerous they are or how fast they are so I suggest possibly leading it away or attempting to get to high ground like a cliff or a rock and letting it run into the rock and shooting it from above while it isn’t moving. (Either that or knock them out and kill or tame)
Ok I finally did it. 3rd time lucky. I managed to kill an argy because I hit it too many times trying to get it to follow me. But your tutorial worked so thanks a lot

How do you find such high level ones the highest level one I’ve found is 22
I have turned the difficulty up. By default levels are set to max out at 30. If you turn the difficulty up in the settings to max then you will get up to 150 max level.

I’m playing solo and you kinda scoffed at a level 156. The highest i’ve seen is level 150, how do you get higher??
150 is max difficulty but on servers you can turn it past that. So I am on difficulty 6 which makes max level 180.
