- A prime minister is a minister that is only divisible by one and itself. Join Cody as he takes a trip across the pond to Victorian London in this game of politics and intrigue from GMT Games. Will it win a majority on your tabletop? Or will your just vote "no confidence" on game night? Let's watch!

Looks very interesting. How does it compare to Versailles 1919? Which one do you like more? Trying to decide between this, Versailles, Hegemony or upcoming Weimar Republic.
This, Versailles and Hegemony are all outstanding, but also very different in how they play. I’ve got to play this one more, but I think I like it more than Versailles.
If you struggled with the rules… we lesser humans stand no chance…
Ha! There are some great how to play videos out there. It is totally worth the effort.
Where do you guys play games? I live in Star and work in Nampa. Been unable to find a game group.
@@michaelkuhn9598 Feel free to shoot me an email through TH-cam or find me on Facebook and we can get in touch.
Excellent review, as always. This one just arrived in the mail, along with Plum Island Horror.
As I’m originally from England and now live in Canada, with an interest in politics, the setting completely appealed to me. I don’t think I’ve seen a game based on the Parliamentary system before. Looks very interesting and I like the historical setting too with many political figures I remember learning about in school many many moons ago.
I’m going to try the solo clockwork system too. It looks very promising to me. I’d be interested in hearing your views on it, if you end up giving it a go.
Thanks again for the review.

Thanks Mark. I may do the solo bit eventually, but I've got too much on my plate right now. Best of luck - you'll love the game.
Cody have you thought about playing via zoom or internet in such games?
Not really my style. Thanks.
Looks like Parliament the spreadsheet on the table though 😂
Thanks for the review!
Thank you.
Looks fun! Your reviews are much appreciated, loved the dated ww1 list.
Thanks. Dated?
Dear Discerning Gamer, I'm a big fan of your content, especially the stupendously brilliant Second World War lectures. I'm curious about your setup. Would you consider sharing a setup tour in one of your future videos? Thanks for your time!
Thanks. I don't know about that. There's really not much of a setup at all. I usually just use an iPad to film my videos with my game shelves as a background. Pretty low-tech.
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer Thank you for your swift response, Cody sir. Wishing you a successful 2024!
I preordered this and I tried to get into it but I could not. I watched the tutorial videos and soloed it a couple of times and it just did not click. Part of it is because it is because it only works as a solo game or four players and I doubt if my gaming group was going to get into this. I ended up selling it to a friend. If he wants to run a game of it, I will jump in.
That's too bad. I really enjoyed it. I've played a few two player games that were a lot of fun. But yes, four players is where it shines.
Who can play this game with the intent of making moral choices as well as trying to win the game. Is this possible in today’s world.
Fortunately, it's just a game.
Did you ever come back and play the game solo?
I haven’t yet.
Who thought that running a highly partisan chamber would be so fun!
Indeed!
How do you get ahead of the person in your party who is ahead of you? We couldnt figure it out. We just always got a similar amount of points so being 3 ahead i was always 3 ahead
Your leadership points? It’s tough, but you will have opportunities throughout the game. Your best shot though is when the other party gets the job, then you steal it from them.
I was wondering where you play games in Nampa. I live in Star and work in Nampa. And yes, Prime Minister is a great game!
Just responded to your email.
Looks like another excellent game. From your review it reminds me, at least slightly, of Republic of Rome. I have the older 1990s Avalon Hill version.
Why do Romans always have a hard time ending relationships?
Their X is always a 10.
Ha!
Some people say that those calling Canada's Prime Minster a charlatan who is out of his depth are totally wrong to label him as such ..
...
...
....
It's true, though !
Ha!
Tic tack takawakka wudda what?!? 😂
Right?
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer Indubitably!
Not my theme!
Too bad. Great game.
