Building an Octave Mandolin (Mando Guitar?) Part 2.

  • This guitar was found on the side of the road in the garbage - my friend picked it up and gave it to me to see what I could do with it. I think I have decided to turn it into an Octave Mandolin / Mando Guitar... crazy, right? I was inspired but some beautiful Octave mandolins made by Northfield instruments. It has some issues with the headstock, but other than that, it is in very good shape. Let me know in the comments what you think. Stay tuned for more videos to come in the series.

      Cool i started guitar in 1965 and i still hoard . I love my guitar and my old pickup truck .I live in a small town norther alberta I love the city for guitar oldies always buying some thing . I am going to start hoarding old piano woods . not all piano wood is good . I have seen some beautiful walnut wood in pianos just gorgous stuff . It was in a grand piano the big ones .
