If they knew they had to return to the private sector within 16 years the laws they would create would be different. Need to also have them only be eligible for a standard 401K (403C for government staff) retirement and the same healthcare coverage as the rest of non-elected government personnel while employed by the government. For example: The “war on drugs” has wasted billions, has created prostitutes and pimps, murderers, thieves, etc. It’s basic econ 101: “supply and demand.” Who has the moral authority to decide what substance should be illegal, and another substance legal? As long as a driver is not impaired, it shouldn’t matter what substance someone uses in the privacy of their home.

steven mosley I don't think Stossel would even claim to be unbiased. He obviously has a point of view.
It's not that Stossel is unbiased, it's that he accepts a diversity of ideas and listens to people even if he disagrees with them, and he subjects people he agrees with to the same scrutiny as those with whom he disagrees.
@@rikiishitoru8885 there was this one video he did about government getting involved with unhealthy food where a famous baker made a plate of donuts made with the normal ingredients and a plate of donuts made with healthier ingredients and he included some people that liked the healthier donuts and said how it's ok for them to have an opinion.
@@jshepard152 the difference between a professional and a hack is the ability to present an unbiased piece. Everyone has an opinion. A professional presents true information whether it flys in the face of that opinion or not. His opinions changed as he did research for this piece if you paid attention. I love John Stossel!! I've been following Mr Stossel for years. It's refreshing to have honest and unbiased Journalism in a time when honest, unbiased Journalism is scarce. Thank you Mr Stossel for your diligence and integrity.
Mr. Stossel's points justify why I abandoned the mainstream "news" in 2001, long ago dismissed Hollyweird, and for decades have been embarrassed by the arrogance and stupidity found among "academics".
I don't have to like Trump to correctly and generally apply "deceitful", "bigoted", "arrogant", and "bigoted" to the self-appointed "ruling class".

Stossel is the man. He pushed my libertarian views even further over the past decade with his honest journalism and his ability to use real world examples.
Completely agree w/ you. I’m also a Libertarian, and believe government overreach is out-of-control. For example: The “war on drugs” has wasted billions, has created prostitutes and pimps, murderers, thieves, etc. It’s basic econ 101: “supply and demand.” Who has the moral authority to decide what substance should be illegal, and another substance legal? As long as a driver is not impaired, it shouldn’t matter what substance someone uses in the privacy of their home.
Whenever I describe a negative interaction I've had with another person I always give that person a stupid cartoonish voice. I don't even realize I am doing it most of the time. President Trump is just doing the same thing.

Hilary crying to Ellen Degeneres (the Queen who thinks she's in jail) that the President was "looming over her" and then Stossel showing the video of Hilary walking over to Trump and positioning herself by Trump. Very similar to the Covington High School situation where the Native Americans walked over to the high school kids and the media made it look like the students started the whole thing. I believed the "moking a disabled reporter" clip when I first saw it, too, but then I did a lil digging (&I'm SO glad you looked into it, too! You're a real one, Stossel😉👌🏼) &saw clip after clip, after clip, after... of Trump doing that EXACT same voice, spasm, etc when recalling instances/interactions w/other ppl in similar situations, who _weren't_ disabled. I'm sure everyone's noticed Trump repeats the same phrases, words, &gestures a LOT (like how he negatively refers to ppl he doesn't care for as 'dogs') Was it a good look? No. But he wasn't referring to his handicap, he was referring to the way the reporter was treating him ...
- unless, ppl think he should treat/respond to that - or any other - disabled reporter differently, SOLELY bc he's disabled & can't be expected to handle the same responses his able-bodied colleagues get?

Latest example, this CNN headline: Two federal agencies that deal with hurricane preparations don't have permanent leaders. Is Trump ready for Hurricane Harvey?" I'm not a Trump fan but here they are trying to hang this on his neck before the hurricane even landed.
This needs to be done again in A LOT MORE DETAIL! I get so incredibly sick of the hypocrisy and double standards and it’s hard to remember every detail since the beginning- I need a video to show people and shut them up!

Any normal person that isn't extreme on either side would be able to recognize he makes mistakes, says things that aren't the best sometimes, and is sometimes hard as hell to understand.
