This is the first game that immediately implemented resident evil 4's over the shoulder view when people were excited which next game will have the same re4 camera angle...I beat it on ps2 and I had a blast doing so!😁
Diego Lockhart I played through it once when it was new. It was OK I guess, but I didn't feel like going through a second time. I guess the most interesting thing about it was that you had to fight human enemies alongside the monsters. That was uncommon for survival horror games at the time.
Diego Lockhart If you can find it somewhere for $5 it's probably worth it for that. I rented it for $5 and I feel like it was worth it. I finished it during the rental period no trouble. It's essentially Resident Evil 4 at sea. There isn't any replay value though. If I remember right, the only thing you unlock for beating the game once is a new harder difficulty setting and that's it. Resident Evil 4 may feel outdated today too, but at least it has lots of extra content to keep you busy.
+Sunny Burrito Late, but it wasn't an RE4 wannabe. It started development before RE4 even was announced to the general public. (Not talking about the original RE4 announcement that ended up being DMC, but the one we have now). In all fairness Resident Evil Revelations kinda ripped this game off.
+Cameron Rogers If you want to talk about ripoffs, Capcom already made two Resident Evil games set at sea before Cold Fear came out in 2005: Resident Evil Gaiden (2001) and Resident Evil Dead Aim (2003).
Awesome underrated game. I liked it better than resident evil, the camera angles were much better in my opinion. I got lost on that freakin ship so many times LOL

It's made for Windows and has very low system requirements.
