So there are still kids who still enjoy the basic rite of "play and fun". So good to see.
Fondest memories: pouring rain, flooded streets, June's constant afternoon thunderstorm and copious rains, gutters spewing torrents of rain as though Noah's ark is marooned nearby, kids playing in the rain, unmindful of lightning and passing tricyles and cars, rooftop pitter-patter sounding like frenzied Hagibis sounds of old, walls of rough hollowblocks green with moss and molds but letting the rain flow like pent-up tears... wow, Pilipinas kong mahal, gintong mga gunita ang kinukwentas ng walang patlang na pag-ulan... My tears now flow with the poignant sound of flood waters rushing down our pockmarked streets and alleyways. Pilipinas, Pilipinas -- laging sariwa ka sa aming gunita at puso.
i love the actual rain as if im there lalu na sa inside road un maraming green na halaman nkkwala ng stress. im also listening to jazz youtube at the same time, nkkrelax tignan ang paligid. ty po sa vlog.

We westerners worry to much about the rain, i noticed some people asking why are they playing and walking around in the rain without an umbrella. If you never played in the rain you are missing the fun, and you may never understand how the rain pouring on your body is so relaxing!
crows rvr Ha ha yes, but i suspect their rain is a tad warmer than here in the UK. Whats nice to see though is so many happy children despite their obvious poverty,

this brings back my childhood years in Metro Manila where I grew up, Galicia Street nearby UST. Next time can you walk around that area please. One block heading towards Espana, lol. It was always flooded but great memories. :-)
