2:32 that's how you know your tines are too low to the ground. another way to know is how much paint/shine they have far up the tines, only the end tips are supposed to make contact. understandable with uneven ground, but at that point you should be lawn rollering every spring and fall when the snow comes off and in the rainy season until the ground becomes smooth and level there aren't any pocket holes and dip basins
The collection system is factory John Deere as is the front thatcher. I've since re powered the tractor with a Briggs vangaurd, opted for the 23 hp because the vaccum uses a lot of power and lugged the Onan 18hp

Nice 318. It has a lot of life left in it. That's cool to see one with the collection system on it. Also you don't see many with the rear PTO.
