Amazing they used a PS3 for this. Does the PS3 board play anything other than just the game on the HDD? I noticed the menu bar thing appear briefly, is it possible to connect a standard blu ray drive I wonder?
Well, its a ps3 but its a little more tricked out with the video board situation. separate video board that needs a separate power source, must be played through hdmi etc. This system will play only what is on the HDD due to the security dongle set up. hard to explain this one but it is like a stripped ps3 with no firmware, the security dongle filled with the necessary boot info and the hdd game.
