I had a friend of mine who had a pair of Huaraches that were handmade in Mexico with these tires for soles. I never forgot it!!She said they were the most comfortable pair of shoes that she owned.. she loved them she wore them in the winter time with socks.. thick socks and this was Indiana too. Only when it snowed did she put boots on.

Let’s take a moment of silence for a little while to appreciate how talented this awesome man here. While others complains about what a fake and real branded sandals are, this man here is showing us something that is a 100% real hand made and not the machine.
All sandals require raw materials, be it from any source. Rather than using brand new material, this guy utilizes old tyres which could be of no use other than making pile of garbage. This way lot of waste materials can be reused and wastage can be reduced.

When i was in Guatemala in the 70's, the natives and hikers mostly European wore the same type of tire shoe. Impressive with no big fancy tools or cutters, just awesome
Brilliant 👏...this guys alot stronger than he looks! Cutting old tires isn't easy! Fyi, keep your razor blades in some sort of oil when not in use = they'll last forever! Even the one ya shave with. Rust is what usually dulls. Gotta add, Love how the rooster crowed at the finish😂

I wasn't too impressed until he drove that razor into the end of table and did the final trim, that really pulled the end product up several notches, then my thinking changed from they're sturdy and well made to now they're sturdy and well made and they look great. Honestly I can't think of a single place in America or on the internet that I think makes a pair of sandals that strong and durable. If the Lord is willing I may take a stab at trying to make each of my daughters and myself a pair of these ...... but I might use snow tires to start out with, just for the extra thread depth.

Ele dizia, você vai acabar com a parte de cima mas a sola nunca mais. E foi verdade. Gostei tanto que uns 15 anos atás encontrei uma rasteirinha feita com sola de pneu de novo. Tenho ate hoje. Se tem um tipo de calçado que o solado é de pneu, recomendo pode comprar que não se arrependerá. 👍😉_*

Но, опять но, старые покрышки в роzzии есть, но там как вы видели ещё несколько элементов, паралон клей, этого у нас своего ничего нет, а если есть клей то это не клей а гавно, сразу все отвалится. Остаётся только лапти плести, да ещё с учотом климота роzzийского, как то не весело становится, и так обсалютно во вовсём.

Wow his cutters are really sharp considering tyres has many fibers embeded inside the rubber.
***True, but in his country, tire manfactuers could still use cloth belted tires, instead of some countries now using only steel belted tires for production, which would enable the cutting with ease as you've seen here,with a blade sharp***
What fibers are you seeing? That's pieces of rubber slapped together with glue in the video.
