Saving a Eucalyptus by chopping it down!

Happy UK National Eucalyptus Day March 18th.
Excuse the cold and the water fountain in the background! In this Video I talk about and demonstrate how to coppice a Eucalyptus and why you might want to do it! In the video we prune Eucalyptus pauciflora subsp niphophila.
Some benefits of coppicing include;
Keeping large trees a manageable size in a small garden.
Promoting more attractive juvenile growth
Makes harvesting foliage for flower arranging easier
Makes an attractive dense evergreen screen
This technique can be used with most Eucalyptus but is more successful the younger the tree.
