I always thought the way for Toga to have a happy life was to teach her how to control her urges and express love like most people, but now I see that’s the same thing the system tried
Well, the system did try but they tried it in the only way they knew how, without changing their approach. That’s where it failed Toga in the long run.
Tragedy is good word to apply to Toga. Of all the powers for the universe to give her, fate decides to give her a quirk centered around blood which the vast majority of humanity has an instinctual aversion to.
I love the fact in a weird way she got to experience being a high-school girl in her last moments. She Confessed to her crushes, and i loved the fact that the nerd boy was embrassed too. She😊 had a very emotional girl talk and finally realized that lovebqas about not just taking blood but giving it. Her parents i put all the blame at them
Toga my favourite character. So much mistakes where made with her early in life. In the end all she needed was love and understanding. Her parents failed her end of story 💔
If I am being honest, it kinda makes Ochaco going with a Pacifist Run and tries to understand a person who wanted to kill her, but was literally at 0.000001 HP where the person stopped hurting instead saved her😅 What a funny reference XD
Her parents and society treated her wrong. That’s not to say she didn’t have her share of crimes, but her willingness to save Ochako in the end shows she wasn’t beyond redemption. In another life, she might’ve been a good peer to 1A.
I kinda relate to Toga. I’m neurodivergent and was always seen as different by my peers as a kid, they were never outright mean or anything, but they always just sensed something was wrong with me. I masked my true self, and it took until junior high for me to finally take the mask off because I met people who understood, people who were like Uraraka.
i thought toga just wanted to hurt people and now i watch this now its understandable that she drinks peoples blood and has a sad backstory the world rejected her and the system failed and now its just sad😢😢😢😢
more than half the villains in my hero academia have a tragic backstory dabi was neglected leading him to hate his family toga was literally misunderstood in everyway possible shigaraki accidentally killed his family with his decay quirk and was driven mad with afo spinner was bullied because of him looking different[aka racism] and then you got stain who just hates fake heroes
If drinking the bird's blood is anything to go by, Himiko didn't need to drink HUMAN blood, any blood would've done. Her family should've accepted her and hooked her up with blood tofu, black pudding; give her foods that contain blood. They very much exist.
I've always been confused over why Toga's parents acted to surprised by her quirk. Quirks are inherited, right? Mom or dad have the same power seemingly without a problem. Can quirks skip a generation? Perhaps I missed something? (I've only seen the anime up until the beginning of season 6)
@@Code_MayMei @jessicahutton5830 That happens (usually) when a human’s genetics drastically change into a completely different set from their family’s genetics Quirk-wise, right?
And also too horrifying like do you see people DRINKING blood that’s something not even the pro hero Vlad does and he uses it for heroing but he’s different he uses it to not scare the public or was lucky that it was limited enough where it didn’t require to look as bad as toga

But, her's can really hurt people and spread disease.
As well she killed innocent animals.
@@karalstonalexstine7939 she didnt kill the animal though? didn't she just find it dead and decide to drink its blood?
@@samanthadegroot7749 yes, she didn't kill it. Her quirk also doesn't make her hurt others, she became violent because she supressed it for so long.

This comment reminds me of ABA therapy for autistic people which is harmful and dangerous and medically proven to be unhelpful.

Sorry, I just wanted to calm everyone down because Ochaco and Toga scene was so sad, I cried watching it... Now, I wanted to lift up some spirits...
The only one that accept her the most was Twice and the league of villian

So basically, nuerodivergent representation. Like the video. It really does reflect the real world issue.
yesss. Repression and being called a "freak" over something you can't control (shunned by society)

she would've loved me with how often i play fruit ninja on my arms
She could be a normal girl she can be a hero by using others' DNA, a fan of Toga

who just hates fake heroes
I love her character, I understood her reasonings, and I also hate her.
That's how I feel about her.
Bro got me thinking he’s ab to pull a Dexter fan

her quirk is a mutation
